Yeah, I didn’t have a birthday party this year, and that’s totally fine for me. I don’t think I ever wanna have a birthday party ever again. I am with Kim on this, I enjoy being alone, but I want to be able to hug people.

I laughed at the introvert comment because my husband has pointed out that for him, this has rid of him all things he doesn’t much enjoy but goes because he has to or I do. Any other extroverts out there feel like this is their own personal hell? The part about Bunco in a strangers house?! I live for that stuff...anxiously awaiting any bit of normalcy and social gatherings after I have my shot and praying for all of those who have been deeply affected by this; I feel very fortunate that I have merely given up a social life when I know there’s so many that have lost many things Way more important! Thank y’all for making us laugh through the tough stuff!

I’m also an introvert. It’s not too bad to be in quarantine. But I do want to go back to school, the only time I’m most social is at school.

My husband just got his second does of the Moderna vaccine (he works in a medical facility). Jist a heads up; this man who NEVER calls in sick just laid there for two straight days. Had almost all the symptoms of covid over those two days, and said it was the worst he has ever felt. First round didn't bother him at all. So.....maybe plan clurbing a few days out?

The whole being okay with this because introvert but over it, yup totally me. I'm over it. Probably will not go out every night but you know I'd like the option to.

Healthcare worker - the first shot made my arm hurt. Got a slight headache. Second shot, nothing. Not even made my arm hurt. Everyone is different, but almost every I know did not have any symptoms to just a few body aches.

I am in the middle, I want to travel, see my family, not have the kids wearing masks all day to school etc, but I’m also not hating this quarantine thing, lol. I can make excuses as to why I don’t go visit ppl “not a good idea bec of covid to be in groups” or “Sorry this Christmas we have to stay at home the five of us only, and cozy up, not have to drive to two places where there’s drama, etc 😆

I'm with you. Honestly, the thing I miss most about not leaving the house is seeing all the fun dogs and cats and having the chance to talk to them. Other than that, I feel I am dealing with it better than some since I don't really have the need to socialize with people very much.

I'm an ambivert that leans towards being an introvert. Being that my sister passed in September 2020, andvI hadn't even been able to see her since October 2019. (She was special needs and was with me almost constantly from September 2012 to March 2019), I'm lonely and I can hardly wait to be able to hug people. My sister was a cuddler and I would often cuddle with her. I miss human touch.

Kim, I am with you!!! I am an introvert and I won't be changing but I want to hug people again. We need the 5 stages of pandemic. 1. scared 2. excited for kids to be home, etc 3. loving being an introvert who can stay home and not makeup excuses to not go places 4. something like frustration with kids, being home all of the time, forgetting how to socialize, 5. vaccine excitement. Well, you're not far off about the personality change. It might actually happen. I'm an introvert too, and I was confined to a bed during three years (surgery gone all wrong). Once I was well enough to get out in the world again I try doing EVERYTHING. LOVING outings, parties, trying out new things! I was basically dead for three years and then got a new chance at life, so I plan om living it TO THE FULLEST. I did that intently for TWO years and the pandemic hit. I'm not loving the social distancing, but coping way better this time around, because at least I'm not bed ridden. I can go for walks and do safe stuff and meet the tiny bubble of people I've made for myself. Loving life and being careful not to get the Rona, because I did NOT survive those three years to die now! I WANT TO LIVE! So yes, you might actually have a slight change in personality after all this is done and over with ☺️ Take care ❤️ And thank you for cheering me up during all this ❤️❤️❤️

I've received my vaccines and sadly my world nor my personality had changed. But the more people that get vaccinated, the closer we come to things returning to normal.

Something to think about.... the movie “I Am Legend”...it was a vaccine that caused the zombie apocalypse...and the year was 2021. Just sayin.....

I miss being around people...until I watch the news!

I think that now that schools have had the opportunity for computer learning that it will change how we educate our students. It used to be canceled for weather and the kids were still stuck in school til mid to late June and I think that the classic snow day is going to be a thing of the past. I also think that the face of summer school might change since it is so convenient to not have to open up schools and worry about air conditioning and stuff like that.
