I'm currently living in Arizona, but I will be moving back to Massachusetts in a little under four months! I really appreciate your compliment! Yes, I'm definitely passionate about what I do on my channel. I had wanted to create a "how to tie" video series for popular friction hitches, and when I succeeded in doing that, I soon was creating my own friction hitches and make knot videos. Then I started making tree climbing videos! It was all a progression and driven by passion as you mentioned. I love educating people, I love filming videos, I love editing videos, and most of all, I love receiving and responding to comments from viewers/subscribers like yourself. That latter is easily my favorite part of YouTubing. But yeah, I'd love to meet you, too, if you ever get the chance or have the opportunity. It makes me extremely happy to know that I have impressed you that much! That means I'm doing a good job running my channel! Anyways, stick around because there's more to come! =-D

@@Knot-orious well when you get settled in Massachusetts I'll take a road trip lol . I have a long way to go with my knots thats for sure but I do my homework sitting at night your videos are easily understood and great visual. I could limit myself to the same ole used every day knots but why stop there.

Definitely! I'll let you know when I get back there if I remember! So long as you continue to be engage with my channel, and maybe remind me 4-5 months from now, I won't forget! I agree with regard to not limiting oneself to just the basic knots one needs to know. The more knots you know and have a working understanding of, the better you will be at truly grasping them and appreciating them. Is it necessary? Probably not. Is it fun and interesting as hell? Definitely! It will also come in hand whenever you need to identify other people's knots in real life and on the internet. People will also be able to come to your for advice and consider you to have advanced knowledge eventually. But yeah, most people who do tree work are content knowing the bare minimum, but why limit yourself? Same goes with climbing techniques and gear. It's so fun to learn about as much as I possibly can. =-D

Been wanting one for some time now hoping that the price would drop or some miracle super deal would pop up but nah . Can't wait to mess with it dont know if you are into all the mechanical gadgets?

@markzadlock4229 Oh yes, I definitely am. I know all about them and I actually own a Rope Runner Pro and a Notch Fusion/Flow Rope Wrench with metal tether. I love my Rope Runner Pro. I honestly keep forgetting that the Spiderjack even exists. It's probably my least favorite out of all of them. If I could get another device, it would probably be either the ZigZag w/ Chicane combo or the Unicender. If I were to get another hitch based system, it would be the Hitch Hiker. The Akimbo is pretty cool, too. Did you compare the Spiderjack to the Ropre Runner Pro, Akimbo, Unicender, ZigZag/Chicane? Why did you decide that the Spiderjack is your favorite? It it just for MRS or can you climb SRS with it as well? If you're climbing MRS strictly, the ZigZag is definitely king in my opinion. I actually created the most comprehensive video about the Rope Runner Pro on RU-vid ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0ZI5QcjgydA.html

New to climbing. Tried this hitch with my Notch Flow. Would grab sometimes and sometimes not on my rope walk. Was wondering if it was my hitch cord rope combo. Thanks for the video.

This is NOT the hitch you want to use with a rope wrench. I even say in the video that this is NOT a climbing hitch. If you're a beginner, give this hitch a try instead. It's called the Catalyst hitch! You should see immediate improvement with performance! ru-vid.comH4sPOx7WdCI

@Knot-orious Thank you for the info on the friction hitches. Trying the Trinity on my lanyard and the Cornell for my Notch Flow. Learning alot.

@@jodyhodge2129 The Trinity is an EXCELLENT lanyard hitch, which you already likely know from my videos. The Cornell is a great choice for your rope wrench. I have the same wrench and love it, with the Fusion tether. Anyways, give the Calligraphy hitch a try if the Cornell doesn't work for you. It's my most popular hitch. ru-vid.com9IPQJwCmpyE You're welcome for all of the info! Thanks for your support!
