I own a milsig m17a2 (now valken) and as much as i love the full auto it does chop a whole lot and many times full auto trigger screw has to be re adjusted several times. Im also not a fan of the feed necks on the magazines as i have had several break magazines are also very heavy and bulky. I own 4 adittional other markers (tmc, fsc, fs t15, and tipx) i can honestly say the tmc is one of the best markers under 300 dollars if you dont plan on shooting first strikes that is. Next for premium feel and a bit higher in price but totally worth its price is the first strike t15 (my main marker) due to its compatibility with real AR furniture and also magazines are compact and very light.. this is important to me since i carry 10 to 12 mags on me during games.. sorry for the essay. Just wanna share some of my experiences with each of these markers and their accessories
Yes the NECKS on the mags for m17 are TERRIBLE 1 blew apart in my m17. Valken is overnighting me a new gun I asked them for the NON FIRST STRIKE mags or mags that have a Solid Head. They dont make em anymore They Only sell the First Strike ones. Sucks. The mags are Terrible But the gun when using a LAPCO barrel and Heatcore Orings and Shooting * 8gram HP68 rounds - this gun is a SELF DEFENSE MONSTER ! It could take down anything. These rounds are No joke
@@chopstunna3837 Actually NO VALKEN / Milsig M5 Is the Only Version - that comes with an After market DRUM for 100 shots. However Mortal Combat Sports. Has just made a BOX MAGAZINE- that FITS every MAG FED GUN. THE Box Mag. Can fit **175** shots And on the M17 with full Auto. This could DROP ANY MAN and Most large animals
Milsig not dead lol.... they just licensed the design to valken. It's still oemed by milsig. Milsig will continue to sell the m17 along with the m5, their new p10 pistol and the milsig shotgun coming out later this year.
im using this gun with grimburg rounds and a rifled .684 14" barrel. im not playing games its for home defense. tbh ill pull the 9mm before i pull a toy in a self defense situation.
Is it good for non lethal self defense or would it just piss an attacker off lol, would it give you at least 30 seconds to run or would they brush it off in a couple seconds? And are those .68 cal?
it is 68 cal but probably could fend someone off their will always be a better self-defense alternative. If looking to protect yourself I would say that a taser would be the more reliable weapon.
@@ashravenpb milsig licsensed the design to valken. Valken is marketing the m17 only. Milsig will market the m17, the higher end m5 along with their new p10 pistol and shotgun.
