Very creative! Took me well over an hour to clear the whole stage of enemies other than Vulcan+Crymaria, capture all bases to avoid reinforcements then slowly grind 100 lancer/tank/grenadiers hits on Vulcan. FML
Well that's busted. This mission made me put the game down a year ago, and I figured with quarantine I'd finally get around to finishing it. This is going to save me such a headache!
Nothing really changed because people also stacked Rosie with Demo+Pen against the Lupus Regnum. In the end VC is more of a turn based JRPG with action elements than a tactics/strategy game.
Probably gradually working up the flanks or some shit. I have no idea why you wouldn't immediately start blasting the vulcan though. As soon as I saw the objective I just loaded up my grenadiers in the APC, gave them the demolition order and blasted that fucker away in the first turn.
@@Justin-wz9pr how? Barely any damage, and the interception fire will kill your grenadier. I tried my own way on this, got completely obliterated, I've no idea how to beat this until I saw the video. Literally this stage is the first I can't complete with A by my own.
@@richardanderson1417 Grenadiers with Elias autoaiming for the Vulcan will drop bombs right into the radiator. Set up Riley in range, and use an engineer or resupply order to reload her.
Thank you for video! This mission in "normal way" is BS. Hell, even grenadier with anti-tank mortar and SAME orders like Raz in video can't kill tank with 6+ mortars... Luckly Raz with machine gun can do it without sweat.
I lost so many times playing this map and couldn't figure out why Hafen did 0 damage to that Vulcan. But wow, using RAZ for penetration and anti tank is so OP lol. But i won this map because of this video.
Lmao, I used the smokescreen cheese too but I ended up up taking 2 turns because I resorted to Aoife+Riley peeeew spam. How could I forget Troopies with buffs are broken AF, especially after bullying the Imperial General guy in VC1 in the same way XD
Wow this is even more cheesy than me Demo Boost order on an AT grenadier and snipe the tank with him repeatedly (managed to do that in 1 turn, but only just). Also hot damn Penetration looks insanely powerful.
I had to lure the tank to set next to the high ground and got a lancer to the high ground with the help of Minerva's command. Then I got the lancer to shoot the weak spot like 5 times ( I had an engineer refill the lancer once).. it took me 2 turns to do it after a couple of tries. TBH how you win without these silly commands is way more satisfying. It doesn't make any sense to just walk a single soldier among a whole squad and let him shoot down a tank with a machine gun.
Well shit I tried doing that in the first round and kept dying. Now, after 10 turns, I got rid of all the enemies and snuck behind the tank. Then, just to not waste my time, I checked to make sure I did everything correctly, and it worked. Thanks.
That's so fucking cheese, here I was trying to kill it with the hafen as fast as possible and this dude gets it done with Raz of all people, how tf does a sub machine gun kill a tank? WTF logic is this? Oh wait it's anime logic so you gotta think way outside the box apparently
I skipped using the APC and instead used the all allies defend order and all units demolition boost with penetrate on Raz: Minerva command and have Raz and another unit to follow. She can make it all the way to the side of the tank with AP + boots. Have her attack and Raz gets will assist. Select Raz and squad damage with all 3. gg no re
Fr. Although doing the triple cheese set up with 3 lancers set up in chapter 14 is how I approached this mission. Christ what even is Armor penetration in this game.
Excuse me, I finished the Story Mode and I accessed the Cenotaph, but this is not Raz, can he not revive? In Cenotaph is Christel and Vancey (who died with Raz. But Raz is not here 🤕😔 I wish to revive at 3

@@soulburnerlv1337 no, not really. I haven't played it since. I was having fun with a jrpg that allowed multiple approaches to challenges and grinding made those challenges easier. This level showed me the end of this game would be a puzzle game with extremely limited solutions to encounters. I wanted a jrpg experience, the game deviated from that, visa vi, I no longer like this game. Can never get those hours back. If you love this game, cool, you must like those elements; I don't.
