@@AAhmou XD I really hope that a future anime uses Plotonium as an actual fictional metal. "Sir. The enemy has to much plot armor to defeat them." "Then use the new ammunition we just got in this morning. It's made from Plotonium.
She took this sniper bullet before her awakening. The invulnerability is only into her Valkyria mode. (except her "Valkyria" potential, truly broken !)
If he wanted to kill her, he would've shot her at a vital area, such as the head. The area she did get hit was just enough to where she'd be fine but still in need of the valkyria blood to awaken. He knew she'd heal fast. Plus, if he didn't do it, Selvaria would have wiped them all out.
This was one of the most stunning moments in any video game I've ever played. The entire time, I'm just sitting there, muttering "Holy shit", over and over again.
Actually, it was perfect. The scene was able to hold suspense by making you think who shot her because the "I heal quick" scene was held back until later.
When I had these cutscenes play, I wondered how Faldio suspected Alicia might've been one of Valkur. Then I get a side mission later in the game which then explains it, as she tells him that her wounds always healed quickly for some reason (and I think he sees a faint blue glow emanating from her as she's sleeping). The problem is that the side mission should've been available before this story mission cutscene, so that it would make more sense to the player when this scene plays out.
When Alicia got shot I thought it was the same Sniper that got Isara like it was something from Enemy at the gates where the sniper was sent to pick off Squad 7
Selvaria had a bit more prior experience and was aware that she was a Valkyria longer than Alicia, and still effortlessly gets her ass kicked by a semi conscious newbie Valkyria.
I assume that Selvaria learnt how to control her power, whilst Alicia obviously hadn't by this point. Alicia pops up later as a Valkyrur and she's in full control of her powers, so that seems likely. No clue about your second question though.
I kinda dissappointed when Alica Valkiryia mode is not playable in the game. But then, I saw a video where someone is basically using Alicia only to beat every stages by exploiting the game system :D Okay, Alicia is really OP even with her normal mode 🤣🤣
The key is to not move all ur characters. Have some stay at the base and defend it, while the rest use the extra CP to do more actions. I also noticed that using using "caution" on a scout and using that same scout to head shot things while deflecting bullets made battle much quicker. Alicia was overpowered once she got all her potentials + Caution was used on her. She was a bloody ninja!
This part really lost its impact when you suck at playing the game and alicia dies in practically every mission and you end up having to retry 8 times before you get it right.
That makes sense. But still, it must've been a bitch for the Valkyrur every time one of them awoke to their powers. :P Oh, well thanks. I just had a fanfic idea flopping around in which Ragnite was found to be an artifical compound engineered by the Valkyrur, and a group of Darcsen radicals synthesizes a similar compound, Fimbulite, to give them powers on par with a Valkyria.
I don't understand why Maximilian disposed of his valkyria after this battle like Selvaria was useless. Yes, her sacrifice destroyed most of Gallia's army, but without her he couldn't do anything to stop Alicia (as we saw when she faced Maximilian's tank). Luckly for him, Alicia wouldn't use her powers after that.
Well that's how Maximilian is. He's just plain selfish. He pretty much sees Selvaria as nothing but a puppet to be used to win the war. And because she failed in her battle with Alicia, to him, she's disposable. Kinda like how Joker sees Harley Quinn.
In Maximilians mind, he had pretty much replaced her with his new toy, the Marmota, and soon the Valkof Lance and deemed her sort of obsolete, except using her as a quick means to get a tactical advantage. Ironically, had he kept her as his personal guard like he did in the beginning of the game, he likely would not have died in this pathetic manner from Faldio.
since i watch the anime bevor i played the game i wanted to play as Valkyria ;) but i cant finished the one MIssion, where Welkin and Alice tryed to return to squad 7, the Mission after the Mison where Alice hurt her Ankle
You cannot call "friendly fire" Faldio's shot. He was clearly aiming to shot her. And that "awakening" excuse could have been worthless if he had killed her in the process by accident (An officer using a sniper rifle? That kind of weapons usually need training)
One thing I don't is how Selvaria retains her own consciousness while Alicia acts like a zombie. Is that what happens when a Valkyria awakens to their powers? But if that's the case, how do the Valkyrur control the mass destruction that ensues? Better yet, why do JUST the Valkyrur have these powers? I understand that their blood reacts with Ragnite in order to obtain the instant awesome shown here, but what exactly in their blood allows them to do that?
Yes, called Valkyria Chronicles. It's been recently remastered and can be accessed on almost every console and PC. A must-try for sure. You won't regret it.
