As an Argentinian, I laughed when i was going through the barracks and found Homer, I instantly recruited him and used him for a few missions until Nadine appeared then I never stopped using her, I think she is the best Engineer.

In the tutorial explaining engineers the game specifically said that engineers can "Set up sandbags, barriers, and traps" and were "support units and architects of the battlefield", first time using them I can not set up traps or sandbags like the description led me to believe, only repair barriers it seems; which is entirely counter productive as repairing barriers usually means they're on the enemies side of the field.
While the tutorial does say "place sandbags", it does really mean just to repair them. Which is actually helpful. Engineers can do it as a free action. When you get to a midway enemy base and destroy the sandbags with grenades to kill the crouching enemies, then you can get an engineer to rebuild it so you can get your characters to crouch. Also, the tutorial in the two versions I've played says disarm traps, not set traps.
Personally I use one assault class unit able to destroy the entirety of the enemy units and meet the victory conditions, I give him an massive armor boost, demolition boost, ignore defense, et cetera. Vyse is my main tank killer and turret killer, once he gets behind an enemy tank its game over for them.
Gangers yeah I agree with that when I'm picking an engineered the travel alongside any group that I have Alicia teaming up with I always have Dallas with her specifically for Alicia lover though I usually enforced after I have Alicia team up with other girls to avoid man-hater from activating. Nadine on the other hand is always traveling with welkin and zaka because you know tanks
Gangers BTW, every time her potential activated, she is actually fangirling in JP dub. She is practically swooning with this quote “Alicia onee-sama!” In very high pitch manner to the point I try to use her less and less.
@@NoirLouisStream Exactly!! I totally missed that she's actually legit into Alicia until getting into the logs. Strangely I much prefer her squeaky Japanese over how moody she seems in English

For a game that has outlandish characters with extremely quirky personality traits, the Valkyria Chronicles series have pretty good English voice actors to encapsulate that.
@@TheAfrowJow maybe man, but it just don't feel the same as the original voice. But maybe i'm exaggerating a little, i always tend to prefer the original voices when it comes to games, series or films. It's just my humble opinion, don't think too much about it.
@@Shuyin781 it's also applied the other way around lol. When I was playing VC2, I'm used to english voice of the main character. When I tried VC3 (with no english dub), It just feel strange when I encountered character from VC2, but instead of english dub it's japanese dub lol.
