Ive always been too lazy to make an exec cfg for jumpthrow binds and also too lazy to put them in every time i opened cs. Im so glad that my laziness doesn't offer me a disadvantage anymore
This is how it should be. For the entirety of CS the only reason i never played were binds like this. But its too late for me, i already found other games that i rather play
@@sam-np4ol, I was using desubtick binds to bhop better, now I can't do even it. In CSGO I was able to bhop without any problem, but now only if I set fps_max 64. Sad.
@@chk_g you blame Valve for the wrong reason - you should criticize the decision to use sub-tick, not the one about banning scripts. Funny enough, people for some reason praise Valve's subtick that is the source of 3/4 of bugs in this game while huge W for the community like banning scripts is being criticized.
No, cuz they are better than Ur shitty keyboard. Wooting has tachyon mode which reduces input delay even further so it's still a great buy, you're also getting quality and customizabilty options. Not to mention you also can change the activation range of your keys to your own Liking.

If that was how they are detecting it, then it would be impossible to distinguish false positives. You could get kicked for being skilled at stutter stepping. @@Visstnok

People with wooting keyboards can still do walk jump throw bind by using the MODTAP feature which binds two keys into one allowing for a perfect jump throw everytime.

I think it's because they've been saying they're working on the anti-cheat for years, while we've actually seen basically zero progress. The majority of the top 1000 premier players are cheating, and the top 100 are still full of blatant, and what should be easily detectable, spinbotters
im a big fan of removing jump throw binds.. ever since cs2 release i never saw a reason to use jump throw anymore. or walk jump throw or run jump throw.. im glad its removed finally
only low level players say this. anyone who's played cs for 2k more hours or at higher elo (e.g. pros) will use a bind because there's no reason no to.

Fuck them for removing jumbinds. Also its been over a year and there isnt any clear decal command. Now i wont even be able to bind clear decals to my wasd even if they added it in why the fuck are they so fucking hell bent on fucking over this game. All of these god awful changes came after the fucked up dust 2 t spawn man ffs.

@@visualkickzjumpthrowing without binds has been inconsistent and inconvenient since cs2's release. Theres a reason every single professional player was still using binds until this day
@@tgg5045 Banning new hardware instead of cheaters. At that, they didn't even implement it in the right way (people already being banned for non SODC counter strafing). Killing movement as a whole.
@Dubulcle this just admitted they're working on vacnet 3.0, also anything can show false positives. it'll take time to get right, that's just how code and stuff works (Edit, just checked and apparently they do not ban you for socd or snap tap. all they do is remove you from the server. it seems like you're free to disable it and get back into the game. if they do ban you, can you please give me an example so I can look into it?)
not to be a shill, but manual jumpthrows since CS2 has been so consistent, there's literally no need for a jumpthrow bind like in CSGO I know because I've done manual jumpthrows since the first day I've played (2017), and the chance of successful jumpthrows gone up from 70-80% to damn near 100%, to me at least

@@RAILGUNSHOOT i can compare the feeling of the game and there are videos explaining in great detail why it feels different. ive spent thousands of hours playing csgo and cs2 and recently had the chance to play csgo again and while cs2 looks better, the mechanics (which are the most important part for me) felt much better.

Now, you have the game that literally does this for you where the margin for the timing is like 0.2 s, so if you can't time two inputs with such a huge error bars provided maybe it's time to stop playing the game.

Honestly this had to happen at some point and I gotta say, buying keyboards just for SOCD is really stupid. I tested some of this myself and the jumpthrows/jumpducks still work if you use macros from your keyboard/mouse software, but they're kinda clunky. One more thing though, and it might not be that important for most players but in Danger Zone jumpduck gave you a pretty big advantage as you could exojump with 100% accuracy, so if DZ gets released, things are gonna be a little different.
REMEMBER Valve will detect snap tap but wont detect rpm over normal and wouldn't detect people bhopping nope! i really wanna try the snap tap and see if there's way around the detection
Snap tap is anyways not be-all end-all of this keyboard Rapid trigger is faster thsn longer than mechanical keyboards by several ms so the keyboard was always awesome Snap tap was literally just added a few days ago, these keyboards have been topbselling for ages
If you've ever used SOCD, you'll understand it's really not a big deal. I have access to and choose not to use SOCD. The jump throw stuff is just stupid.
So theyre banning people using snap tap.... and everything that makes the game work. BUT they dont ban the people cheating in the game and bots that farm cases for them. Okay something is going on here.
De-subticking my scroll wheel for bhopping no longer works! >:( I tried binding mwheeldown to exec a cfg which has +jump and -jump, and then it blocked me from being able to use the +jump command AT ALL. Even after I rebound mwheeldown or spacebar to +jump, it still wouldn't let me jump at all. Without de-subticking my scroll wheel, I cannot bhop unless I switch to a mouse with a different scroll wheel. My comment will be filtered if I say what I am thinking! >:(
Because I like subtick for hitreg. Not for movement though. Subtick + esea tier 128 tick servers might even feel better than csgo esea? Maybe? I still hate CS2 and miss the actual game that I paid for and with every update they drive me closer to quitting the game entirely after 10 years and thousands of hours.

Stupid razer and wooting making us loose jump throw binds. This is gonna piss off some pros too in my opinion jump throw binds are essential to the game.
No, they are not essential - in CS2 you have huuuge margin for error when completing a jump throw, so if you have troubles to do it then you should really stop playing vs humans.
I bought a new keyboard and I love it even if I can't use snap tap. Still better than y'all's garbage McDonald's quality keyboard with worse Input delay and you can't change your key activation points.
Good. People need to learn not to cheat. Its small cheating with binds and cfgs but still cheating. This is. Very welcomed thing. Just need actual functional and cheat now and optimization of cs2 and its better than csgo ever was. Its overall good step in the right direction even with so many plebs crying over their binds and shit cus they cant do it on their own
I think it's good Valve doesn't allow any form of "scripting". Even jumpthrows. CS is all about: "Easy in theory, difficult in practice". I think all these complex smokes removes some of that. I actually still prefer skyboxes on maps and more 1.6 style of gameplay where you have to smoke while executing. It makes the gap from casual to the pro-scene smaller and it's all about practical skills. Not that you have practiced 50 smokes on each map. Everyone can do that. It becomes a totally different game when you can throw every smoke without danger.
I feel similar. I haven't tested yet, but I suspect movement in general just took another step back. glad my interest in this game is already well on the way out lololol

Got kicked twice after the update, i don't have a fancy keyboard as a matter of fact it's a cheap Chinese one (membrane on top of that) i have no clue what the fuck is snap tap yet i got kicked twice ? i deleted every single cfg files i had just in case cause i thought maybe i still had my old jump throw bind active and that was the reason of my kick but i did that for nothing since these binds don't actually get you kicked only snap tap does ??? I'm seriously confused and afraid of jumping in comp because i don't want to get kicked for nothing again... in the meantime aim-botter are still going strong in the game, when you send valve video proof that someone is cheating and admits it they don't give a shit but i get kicked for something i'm not even aware of ??
