What does the test show?
The more weights you manage to put on the machine until it stops, the stronger the oil film tested will be. The test examines the oil film's resistance to tearing.
The sample is measured with a micrometer - the lower the result with a given load (the gouge in the sample is smaller), the oil will give better protection to the engine.
The table will give the result of the gouge of the sample, the number of weights put on the machine, the temperature when the machine is stopped.

Creo que es mejor mandar a analizar el aceite ya que en el laboratorio simulan las condiciones de trabajo dentro de un motor

Das ist my oil in my auto, I use it for like 6 lat now, but you cannot keep it more than 10 000km its getting really czorny

@@svetlinspirov5758 sadly I can't tell because I use it since I bought the car over 7 years ago, my car is audi 2000 year so car is 24 years old, engine valve seals are probably leaking but there is no smoke on startup so its not so bad. This oil shouldn't be kept in the engine for too long otherwise small black particles are formed.

@@PiotrTester i think at some point they updated the bottle? Now the new ones do not have the white background. I postponed my oil change as they sent me Valvoline Synpower 5w40 instead of Maxlife 5w40.

These tests reveal the strength of the friction modifiers (e.g., molybdenum, tungsten etc). It is not a proper test to test lubricity film under pressure operation.

@@xynostasos9022 The proof that these tests are useless is to see the list of the best and worst. Common generic semi-synthetic oils behave much better than known 100% real synthetic 70% Pao premium oils that cost 3 times more.....unbelievable.

Користуюсь даним маслом з 2005року 10w40 або 5w40 тільки ними ,результатом задоволений повністю , чистота двигуна всередині ідеальна - заміна через 10-12 тис пробігу , на 10000 тис пробігу розхід не більше 0.5 літра .
