The ending part was great. Valek asked for the cross. Jack Crow gave him the Cross! I think what made Valek so scary was that he has a psychic connection with his victims that he bites. Then the motel scene was a massacre. 🖤 Love that Valek and the other vampires did not sleep in coffins. But underneath the ground ( rise from the dirt)🖤
Until rewatching this movie recently, I had a weird Mandela Effect memory going on where it wasn't Valek that was the head vampire who Jack had to fight, but the old Priest.
For Human Hunters, Jack Crow is by far the best Legendary Human Vampire Hunting Warrior ! Just look at how he fearlessly charged and challenged Valek had me speechless! Extremely unusually Brave, Badass and Ruthless Vampire Hunting Antihero, and again my favourite human hunter by far!
I was watching this last night and gave me unintentional nightmares. Like I had a dream my younger sister and her friends were vampires and they were down stairs “drinking” and partying lol. I stayed upstairs with the door locked not trying to go downstairs until it was over in the dream. Then one of the guys from “The Wire” rode past on a John Deere Riding Lawnmower lol. And it was night time.
Well, actually, if you were Valek, it would be best to go against you during the day. Trying to go after you at night, bullets and stakes would just ricochet off you. If you were Terry Silver, then yes, Jack Crow would be history, as long you do your famous wheel kick while yelling: AH-SAH!! 😉
I am going to assume that Valek figured the easiest way to get Jack to give him the cross was to allow Jack to impale him on it -because that "jumping right at Jack" attack was unbelievably stupid otherwise. But it did get him the cross.
0:06 vampire master: give me the cross. jack crow: this cross? lemme just ask you one thing. after six hundred years, how's your eggplant working pretty good? vampire master: ... jack crow: huh? come on! vampire master:[threatens to attack jack and gets stabbed by the cross] CROW!!!!
I don't think this is really a valid criticism. Sure, they are all suns - for that matter, the moon is reflecting sunlight -but it is the intensity of the light that matters. No star other than our sun is close enough to generate enough light to be a problem for vampires. I think that is a legitimate distinction to make.
Thomas Ian Griffith as Valek is scary and sexy at the same time. I love him too much! 😍 He was Terry Silver in "Karate Kid III" and is Terry Silver in "Cobra Kai". He is always sexy! Even now with the white hair he is. I adore him! 🥰
It makes me so mad that they create these bad ass characters like Valek in movies and then somehow end up killing them so easily. I mean this guy is meant to be a 600 year old bad ass who was shown in many scene ripping through people like butter. Then all Crow has to do is jump into a pillar and bam the sun makes him explode in seconds. I mean come on. I know they gotta end the movie with his death but you'd think a vampire of this caliber would at least avoid the sunlight.
sounds like u want a convoluted climax; this shows ingenuity as well as strength... if he didnt hit that pillar he would have died in 5 secs, what more does a vamp flick need
People watching movies back then didn't require internal logic so hard. Modern viewers don't realise their access to information has made them cold to fun like this.
Can someone explain to me why the sun is killing him here? If i recall correctly he walks in the sun earlier in the movie. Cant remember the reason. Thx !
I just love it when I get that pop up saying "Someone has liked your comment" or "Someone has subscribed!"😍 Make somebody's day better! Have a good day❤ PEOPLE!!!!!
Far be it from me to correct someone...but that was NOT Alec Baldwin. That was Daniel Baldwin....but it isn't like looking the film up on Wikipedia or Google would have given the correct information or anything.
