I'm Ben, I've lived the Van Life and camped in my VW Kombi in the UK, USA, and many other countries around the world, but never in my home country. hey ben. i just wanted to say thank you. thanks to you i can call myself a traveler now since 5 years. the pure joy you give to people through your videos, is what i call inspiration. i had so many people trying to tell me what the right thing for me is,but you live what the right thing for me is, how i want to live. in my own way, but i want to travel, to fall and stand up again in places i’ve never been before, where every task is different and every joy and view too. and that’s the life i’m living now and that all because i randomly stumbled across your videos six/seven years ago. you know when you read a really good book and you somehow have a personal connection to it. this is what your videos did to me and many other people out there. you inspire people by doing what you love, so keep doing what you love. thank you from australia

Happy holidays! I’ve only been following since Baja California, but I’ve banged the entire series! It’s good to see you’re pushing forward. I know it is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to run your channel atm, but I miss the seasons and the episodes per season. It had the beginning, middle, and end and forced me to keep on watching!

I visited Jersey in my T4 camper in August and wasn't happy with the campsite I was on. Coming again in the spring and was thinking about Rosel campsite, but the one you were on (is it Bay View?) looks great. Faith is lovely, I hope you will both be happy on your travels.

@@MarcusTDM me too. i have been following Ben for years now, in the time since I discovered him I've built a van, lived and travelleled in it, and then moved back into a house! With the nature of our videos being similar I think it's maybe less of a surprise that we come to the same places. There is a transient community amongst people like us and although we may only meet once, a few times or not at all, the friendships last a lifetime :)

There is so much to see just in Britain that many of us don't get a view on. Some amazing literature comes out of 19th Century pastoral literature (yes I'm talking Bronte and Austen). I'd love a series on it. Alaska hit the jackpot in Peru when she stumbled on to you as a puppy. Happy travels! ❤❤

George did great. So proud of him. Is he a poodle? If so that's what all my fur babies are, but there tiny toys. I've got one poodle that loves to ride on the tube behind my fish & ski inboard/outboard Ranger boat. It's 17'9" long. So it's a big heavy boat. Do worry she has a doggie life jacket & the 2 kids ride w/her & I drive slow. She loves it. Everytime I would jump in the water from the boat, I had to turn around quickly & grab my 2 tiny toy poodles. Thank God I always put their life jackets on, BC one of my girls had a really messed up back. A bad case of disk deterioration of the spine & the other had moderate case of disk deterioration of the spine. Now you know why they had life jackets. There was times I had to help them go to the bathroom, carry them everywhere & cook them noodles so they could lay down to eat. Last year I had to put my little Snickers, the tiny toy, down & she went to the fur baby heaven. It broke my heart. I've only got my little Gingerbread Cookie Doo left, we can her Gin-Gin for short. In the last 4 years I've lost a fur baby every year, except this year knock on wood. It's really been hard on me. Now Gin-Gin will not let me out of her sight. She sleeps w/me, goes everywhere I go. And when I leave her w/Dad to watch her she does nothing but whine the whole time I'm gone. I get home & he says about time she's driving me crazy. I just shake my head. The new lady you got w/you in the van needs a little color on her skin. Bless her heart she's going to need a lot of sunscreen to keep her from burning. Keep her covered from that sun & she'll get color quickly I hope. Well you all be safe & God bless, Chris from Missouri

In high school, we played a car CB radio game of "hide and go seek". Someone would drive with their car and CB radio, park and key the mic. which would highlight the power signal. We drove around until the meter was 100% and found the cars. I drove every inch of road in my town of 150,000 people.
