I have the same set of slipons on my 2006 electra glide and I'm VERY happy with the sound output, I really recommend these pipes. Ride safe out there !

I have a 2011 Road King with the 96 CU motor. I have these pipes and love them. I am running a stock head pipe but I have the CAT removed out of it. Runs much cooler now. I spoke to the Vance and Hines rep at the motorcycle show in Cleveland a couple years ago before i purchased them and put them on. His exact words were that "if I was only doing the slip on"s, no tune was required, However, If I were to change the air cleaner, then yes, I must re map the fuel system." He did tell me that I would indeed get a little better preformance out of the bike if i did put a tuner on it to re map it and match it to the pipes, but it was not going to damage the bike from running to lean buy just installing the slip on's alone.

Hi great videos! I have a 2013 Street glide and I want the biggest sound at idle and when I give it gas with just slip ons, what would you guys recommend?

Hi. We just got a 2014 street glide special with Vance and hines slip ons, no high flow. Seems to run good. Do I need high flow air kit. Dealer said should someday

I 'd like to ask if when you get the bike, to be able to ride it publically would you need any kind of license?

Most states require a motorcycle license to ride.

Now you say these don't require a tune. However V&H customer service told me different. M Harley dealer says they need to be tuned as well. They said its because the exhaust will cause the engine to run rich. Im just confused on how you said no tuning required.

Feel free to call us to get more in depth, but basically it comes down to this: Adding exhaust would technically cause the bike to run leaner, not richer.That said, adding just slip ons and leaving the stock headers makes a change that's so minimal the factory ecm is capable of handling the minor change. If you start changing headers that's a little bit of a different story. How much did your bill grow after the dealer said you need more parts? That should explain the reason as to why they would tell you that. The bike in the video is my personal motorcycle and I test ride all of the pipes we've put on. There has not been so much as a hiccup or hesitation with any of the slip ons we've added. If you have more questions, please don't hesitate to give us a call.
