Vanity Myers is surprisingly viable now 😮 | Dead by Daylight 

I don't know why, but Otz hiding there, stalking, muttering, "Oh yeah, yeah... Memes, memes, memes, yeeeah memes." just crushed me. Almost died laughing.

Vanity Mirror being viable, at the cost of Burger King Myers... Was it truly worth it?

I love add-ons like this, keeping a killer still viable but changing their gameplay so much. I think it adds a healthy variety to the game. Personally I enjoy playing killers many different ways. So good!

Adept Myers suddenly looks a bit less of a pain!

A new brown addon is in order. "Wrapped Fast Food Bag" that locks you into T1 and incurs the speed penalities of the old Vanity Mirror and Judith's Tombstone, in exchange for 100000% more bloodpoints

Myers has so many playstyles: Tier 2-3 average Myers, wallhack vanity Myers, perma-Tier3 Myers, instakill tombstone Myers (every survivor's favorite), fat Myers, the list goes on.

I still petition for whispers to deactivate when it's only in range of a survivor on hook.

The voice acting on the new survivor is too good needs a nerf

The animation for breaking boon totems is pretty lazy. I hope the devs spice it up just a bit and make it more satisfying.

They should give Myers a legion like add-on that makes his T-3 terror radius cover the entire map lmao

The only bad thing is they removed Burger King Myers. I wish they reworked one of his browns to keep you in tier one and reduce your speed the same amount and give you like triple Bloodpoints.

The Mirrors actually change his power now He's either stalk to super saiyan or Basic Killer with sliiight buffs and wallhax or Slow Undetectable Killer with beeeg wallhax

Myers doesn't even need a rework, just a buff to his stalking abilities. It shouldn't take longer, the farther you are.

He is a normal m1 killer with reduced terror radius and wall hacks. I like it

What’s the add on called, where Michael is faster during his stalking? That one might be good with vanity mirror!

Changes like this are such a huge breathe of fresh air for a killer that has almost not been touched since his debut. More in the future hopefully.

Michael has so many fun builds this is making me want to play him more

I personally like Scratched Mirror the most Chases become pretty much unviable but you have endless undetectable and can outmaneuver them on a much larger scale. It feels incredibly fitting for the character, Myers never outruns you, you lose sight of him for a few seconds and then he’s in front of you.

What I find weird is you’re just playing as an m1 killer with wall hacks and half the terror radius

I mean, I would not call it a buff. They just reverted the changes. Not it's just an old Vanity Mirror, as it was on day one.

Considering the addon was viable and fun to use before they decided to add the speed penalty for no reason (It shipped without that drawback and was added in a later patch) it's not really surprising it's back to be viable again now that it's been removed again

"Viable"? This is disgusting! Add Nemesis on top and take the "pretending to be a baby" strats to the next level by getting bonked on purpose and getting speed in return.

Now all we need is scratched mirror to give a +5% movement speed

Have you considered this build with Monitor & Abuse? 8 meter terror radius when not in chase. EDIT: even smaller with the rabbit addon (4ish meters??)

I feel like the boon totems shouldn't make noise and be only one use. That way they're a lot like hex totems, the survivors can only use it once but the killer won't have an unfair way to find them.

Use hex favor blight perk should help with pallets

I don't play Myers so when I saw the thumbnail I honestly thought "Why does Myers have a buttplug addon?"

I'm going to be honest I kind of feel like this Killers when they're deactivating a boom tell them they should just break it like just stomp it in the ground out of anger

I like new Vanity mirror a lot. It's such fun gameplay. But the fact that you become a plain M1 killer makes me think a pallet chewer build might be good. Probably Enduring + Spirit Fury/Brutal Strength to just chew through pallets. Then you can have Ruin + Undying for a little gen defense. Or maybe just Corrupt and another perk of your choice.

This is how this addon should have been from the very beggining!

I had just started doing this on Michael when i was leveling him up, hilarious to see you did a build and gameplay of it. Love Vanity Myers, so fun. People expect a Tier 3 and lots of slow stalking that never comes. XD

Not the best example of this builds viability when you face against troll/dumb survivors. Them giving you tier 2 for free, Steves running at you, not running straight to a sort of long wall short wall pallet, and this is just from the first few minutes of watching.

I love moments like 6:33 where he lets his inner Killer show for just a bit. That sinister laugh is _amazing._

Getting back from a half-year break and have to say: Glad to find your channel again to stay. I can feel the passion you have for the game. And even if you have your opinion about this and that, you still keep calm during playtime and give some of the best advice and analytics as well. 😄👍

I love running this with Monitor and Abuse. Pretty much no terror radius and I can spy and creep up on them while they're hiding behind a wall.

I have a general question for everyone here. Sometiles when I play certain Killers on the basic server (Not PTB), my game gets very laggy. The most recent example I have is with the Executioner where my game frozes for 1 or 2 secs everytime he does the animation where he rams his blade into the ground. Trickster is the same problem when he puts out his knives. Strangely I dont have those kind of freezes using Nemesis or the Doctor. I didn't played the other Killers in a while.

Is vanity the only Myers perk that was changed?

While I prefer scratched for the Stelth, I knew this would be the case. Very good! I would recommend Fire Up for that sweet vault speed!

I hope that they replace the useless add ons on some killers and change it to a gameplay changing add ons to the killer like this add on

Random dbd story: Me and my friends played in a 4 man swf and well. No need to be afraid of us, we are really casual, talk with each other all the time about stuff that is not game-related and rarely sweat. It was another one of those casual matches and our map was Lery's. I sat on a VERY unfortunate gen, that forced me to sit directly at a doorframe. I was literally shittalking with my friends about some cringy school-experience until Michael came around the corner and INSTANTLY grabbed me. I had literally no time to react. I swear, I screamed so hard my parents came in and asked me if I was alright. That was the biggest jumpscare of my fucking life and me and my friends still laugh about it-

So as a survivor how are you supposed to beat this? If he can see every movement you make, every turn and direction you go. Auditory warnings blah blah. How do you counter this? I would love OTZ to actually play against his own builds to explain how to counter them. Thats even IF you can counter them at all. And don't tell me to hide in the corner of map and do gens all game like a blendette waiting for hatch. No thanks.

everyone saying he needs buffs and rework to make him better, and im here thinking is too op and the most difficult killer to get away from... 1 minute to all survivors being exposed is really something i hate, smh

I like the idea of Myers being lock at different tiers for different powers. T1 is his most stealthy. T2 is balanced. T3 is the loudest. At the moment his T1 and T2 mirrors are kinda similar. Maybe they should change scratched mirror so it's a little more different than the other mirror. Thing's they should keep about S mirror. He is slow because he's in T1. He haves no terror radius for same reason. For sure those two things are important for keeping true to his power. But I'm thinking maybe they should give him one shot downs as a reward for being stealthy. In return for the instant down's he's aura reading range In T1 is reduced to something smaller so he can just see like around the corner so he can still get people by surprise. The reason I think he should have instant downs in T1 is because usually in other games when you're playing stealthy you get a clean kill as your reward. And if Myers was able to get right behind you I think you'd definitely be dead lol. Also maybe they should kill two birds with one stone. A tombstone. They should rework that add on to be one that locks you into T3 and buff Myers T3 powers. So he can jump through windows faster. He can break pellets faster. And maybe other things similar like that.

Man, people have been saying how busted OP boon totems are, yet nearly every video I watch from the PTB shows no such thing. Damn, are people just over reacting?
