Yep that’s how I KNOW Prince was murdered...she die in January and he died in April of the same year, coincidence...NOT! RIP PRINCE & VANITY. It’s nice to know she was waiting for him though. Can’t believe they were both taken from us, they both had so much to give, beautiful beyond belief, both.

I listened to Denise's sermons and she delighted in The Lord. She hated herself as Vanity but was able to use it to help people and encourage people. She was beautiful then and even more beautiful later in life. If any of you get the chance pull up her sermons and/or her interviews. She was so honest about her walk with God and admitted that it took time for her life to change. She left this world happy and uplifted.😊. I loved her!!

Well they say that "it's the good that always die young. Not saying that many of our artist are saints, but they did far more good than bad. I often think of artist like MJ, Minnie Riperton, Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, Heavy D, Phylis Hyman, Biggie, 2-Pac, Eazy E, Gerald Levert and Teena Marie. All died well before their time! Did Far More Good than Bad in Life!

Indeed. I'm 100% straight female, and when I see her, all I can think is 'JEE-zus!...the straight guys in the crowd must be going insane.... she's hot, she's sexy, but at the same time, pure class. And those lyrics?! Talk about suggestive! And I love her cute, playful flirty manner on stage...combined with that 'breathi-ness' with which she utters some of the lyrics... At the same time though, it's sad to watch this performance and just try imagining what's really going on here... a woman who's likely on some drugs....who probably came from not much...was suddenly thrown into the spotlight.... she's 'adored' by fans, but no one really knows 'who' she is at the core... and so sure, she got all kinds of money and 'freebies' thrown at her...but was she really happy??? It all feels so hollow and empty.

That sistah was ridiculously fine. Still have an autographed pic of her from an album release signing at a major record store in my hometown back in the summer of 1986. Me, my cousin and his homeboy actually got the last 3 pics. As she signed it and shock my hand I remember thinking in going to have a wife this fine one day. She was so sweet and down to earth with everyone in line. RIP
