Even Vans newer designs are sick. I just bought two pairs of the Zahbas, one in black and white and the brown Zion Wrights. I love em both.

The reason I love vans is just how Rowley said, when you skate them for so long and have the feel of them on your feet, when you ride something else you're lost and always have in the back of your mind "vans". Till this day, the best skate shoe I ever had, on Jesus, were Johnny Laytons signiture. The toe, style, and color was just so sick. THE SOLES. MY GOD. my right shoe was blown open with at least 3 toes sticking out and was still skating stairs like it was nothing and felt like clouds! All in all, Vans will always be my go to skate shoe.

Had a steve cab mini poster on my wall as a preteen..man 20 yrs went by fast. Oh man i just noticed i had jeff Rowley shoes @5 37 as my 1st sk8 shoe. I forgot i had them.

I started Skating on a pair of Vans, black and blue old skools. I've skated many pairs of shoes from Osiris to Nike SBs to Emericas yet after each one wears out I find myself going for a pair of Vans. My favorite pair of Vans I skated were the Rowley XLT, followed by the rowley lows.

I remember getting my first pair of half cabs in like 1995. I felt like the coolest kid in school.

My first pair was the Knu Skool, next were the Hassan, the list continues to Cab 6, Snookas, 2 Classic Off the Walls, 2 Authentics, a blue suede non pro forgot the model Half Cab, Chukka Lows, TNT, Dollin No Skool, current is the Gilbert Crockett... Damn Vans is like the best skate shoe ever made!

My first pair of Van's were the checkered slip on. I think I was 12? All I did was skate all day every day. No more basketball, no more fake friends. Didn't have the time. Dedicated all my time to skating, and through it made real friends. I got them slip ons before there was even a journeys. Or a Van's store. Got em at my local skate shop. The preppy/popular kids would look down and laugh at them. Then years later everyone is rocking them...including them. Fuckin sheep lol. I beat the shit out of them Van's. Came home with cuts and scrapes because of how big the holes were getting. Could never let them go.. Then one day, mom threw them in the trash. Man, was I pissed. End of story. Van's are my shit 🤙🏼

If it wasn't for my brother I would been wearing crapy shoes but back in 2014-2015 he was a BMX rider for only 2 years and during 2015 of summer I find out he had pregnant his girlfriend and left to Georgia. I was pretty mad but I didn't understand at all because I was 11. So then I found 2 pair of these cool shoes he had and it said VANS with Half Cabs so I tried them and they both were a 9. One was grey and the other was black. They looked sexy but my feet were a size 6 so I just put them on and it felt comfortable to. Everyday I kept puting on the black ones until one day I was playing in water and I forgot that it had a hole in it so they got destroyed. I started to put the grey Half Cab and it was even better then the black ones. So school was coming up I said "Am never getting those crapy shoes" and I bought a pair of VANS not Half Cabs because I couldn't find them. But I wasn't into Skateboarding just BMX but now I both love BMX and Skateboarding. So that how VANS inspired me to wear there shoes. I currently have 4 pairs of VANS and there great. I don't have a BMX bike anymore but I told myself to get on skateboards which well be this year.
