Tbh, at the beginning I felt interested, but after listening to about 5 variations, I actually lost my interest LOL
Just, unlike CPE Bach, he obviously felt restrained...
This piece is so-called "sticking around too much type"
Still, I cannot deny that this piece is still light.
Hope that you might find yourself enjoyed in this piece!

The comparison with Mozart's variations comes naturally. And well… there is no comparison. Mozart's are more "studied"; these, on the other hand, are almost improvisation.

Wow! I didn´t know this at all! It sounds like Mozart might have heard it before writing his. There are some harmonic things, that sounds alike.

The Swabian one is really beautiful! Reminds me of a dance I was taught at piano lessons. Edit: After hearing the Swabian quite a many times, I am eager to learn more about Swabian style of music.Perhaps someone can help? I'd be glad to learn.

Playing this piece at this tempo would suit Yuja Wang, It would certainly be better than that dreadful "Carmen Fantasy" by Horowitz which seems to be one of her favorite encores - played at break-neck speed.
