Steve really handles himself well, considering how a lot of people would get angry and mouthy if someone wanted to debate them. I think his attitude has kept me watching all these years, because everything I know about law I've learned from Steve and had no interest in it before watching him.😂😂
I happen to love ALL of the older videos - I don't remember exactly when I started watching you, but they bring back a lot of memories of days gone by, so please continue them. Plus I just get a chuckle out of them. Also, considering I paid an Estate Atty $450 an hour for my mom's estate last year, I don't think your hourly rate is anything unreasonable.
I've heard you speak of that "woodpecker" a couple times, I actually had a woodpecker that attacked my last house, twenty five years ago, and actually cut a slot four inches wide, and covering ten feet of siding. I ended up shooting that woodpecker with a shotgun only after it'd almost destroyed my house. I did in fact, enjoy your response to all the suggestions. I appreciate the addition of the NC license plate, was wondering how you were rotating your stock. I always enjoy your show, a bit of a cathartic relief.
I love these videos. I'll never understand why people feel the need to argue with you about minutia. $750/hour is super expensive, I don't even think surgeons really deserve that, but as someone who routinely charges somewhere between $100-$200/hr I understand fully the value of one hour of time. I only hope you negotiate that with clients who need your help but cannot afford that rate.

Last year I paid a visit to a surgeon who after looking at my MRI informed me that because of my lungs he would not work on my neck. His consultation fee $1200 for 15 minutes
We still some of the card cachunk machines at work for emergency conditions. But of course the conditions we would have that need it would likely have all out tolls off line too so not really useful.
$750 and hour, the American justice system is for sale to the highest bidder. I can see why some people get jailed unjustly and why there are so many plea deals. Love the show though.
For the past several months, the days fly by while the weeks seem to drag on. I have trouble remembering what day of the week it is for this reason. (multiple edits because my brain is fried.)

I think debating is an important skill to practice. However, I don't have the funds to pay you your rightful fee. Perhaps someday I will. You are right to charge for your time.
