Seen this car when he had the seats off me…very impressed with it. Definitely thinking out side the box with this one.

I owned a 2002 Suzuki wagon R+ 1.3L and what people seem to miss is HP to KG ratios. Just with the factory 1.3L VVT engine, it was surprisingly perky and pulled the lightweight body well. Yes it isn't going to win any racing competitions. But it never was supposed to be a racing car. I did however surprise many pulling away at traffic lights and the like. I think it's overlooked and underestimated just how capable it really was. I didn't care what others think. I adored my Wagon R+, I personally thought it was absolutely brilliant. It made me and my little son happy, that's all I care about. It was his favourite car and mine haha. I do own a much newer higher spec car nowadays, but I would never forget my great experience and how well these little cars serve their purpose. I remember it being pretty solid built too, it was far from tinny and the bonnet had a little weft to it, if I remember rightly 😊.

this thing's awesome. would love to see someone build up a wagon r of this vintage with the suzuki M13, or maybe swap in the bigger 1.6 from the Vitara
