Vauxhall DPF P2002 Diesel Particulate Filter Fault Code FIXED!!!
We did 7 regenerations on the car and every time we did this the smoke became less and less we then did a motorway run to ensure nothing comes back.
The reason we did 7 Regeneration was because the car can take it as the revs say below 2500rpm which this is more or less normal as it’s like doing a motorway cruise. More importantly the weather outside was 2 degrees which again had a big impact on the engine, as I wouldn’t recommend doing this in summer as it may over heat or cause damage to the engine. As well as that the regen only lasted between 15 and 20 mins not like seat skoda Audi vw which lasts 45 mins.
Also I wouldn’t recommend doing lots of regens on some cars such as Vauxhall corsa 1.3 diesel or other vehicles cause some cars revs sit well above 3500rpm and they can go on for a long time which can cause stress and damage the engine.
