Just taken a vax blade 2 apart, model VBB2ASV1.
Please note though that the handle usually has 2 screws to secure it in place at the front but for some reason they were missing,
Please Subscribe as i intend to do many more videos of taking various vacuum cleaners apart, the more Subscribers the more i realise the need.
If videos help save vacuums going to the tip then surely its good for everyone as it saves money as well.
I aim to do various makes but will at the moment concerntrate on Vax, Miele and Shark.if you have a certain make and model you need help with then leave a comment i will try to help.

Thanks for the video, I'm about to replace the 18650 cells in my sons vax, only 1 recommendation and that is some of the shots were spoilt as your hands and arms were in the way, maybe change camera angle view from the other side. Thanks again will save me some time.

Not took mone apart yet. But it's Extremely loud during operation. Common issue?

Many thanks I am trying to take one apart, courage needs when twisting plastics. Does the motor have brushes? I have voltage going to the main assembly but not sure if its worth taking apart further Cheers

Hi, I think it’s a brushless motor, it’s been a while since I done this video but the most common reason for this type motor to fail is the pcb detaches itself from the motor. If you are not sure if it’s worth doing, then in my opinion you got nothing to lose in trying apart from a little time, in trying at least then you learn a little more than before and if you can’t fix it you haven’t really lost anything, although getting just the replacement motor won’t be easy as I’m not sure if any is available on their own. @@adamburton2165 Many thanks for your advise, my reserve is that the vacuum is from a repair cafe so I don't want to return it damaged and not working. Pondering on it.
