VE SS Headlight Replacement 

Gudday mate. Just bought a new pair of headlights for my `07 VE Lumina. Your video sure makes the job alot easier showing where all the bolts and screws are and what size they are to remove. Thanks for the video mate! Just fitted a set of LED globes, so much easier to remove the bar than muck around fitting the globes from inside the engine bay. Great work 👍

G'day Mongrel, Thanks so much for the help, my 2012 Ute SS Thunder is getting some new eyes today as his originals were looking shabby with some stone chips & lots of micro cracks in the plastic. I got a pair for $220AUD delivered (had an Ebay voucher from $259AUD, they are currently $249AUD a pair from ozcarparts) plus I got him some Safety Goggles to go over the top for $80AUD. Ps your puppies are Sooooo Cute 🐶🐶🥰

Champion! My son and me just picked up an SV6 in pretty good nick as a do up, this is just the ticket for the first job. I'll be bolting a set of Hella Sharptones in while I'm at it.😏 Bonus points for the beautiful pups too! Cheers

Thanks mate, video really helped! Mine is a series 2 so had to remove six screws under the front bar. Imagine this was to solve the lip going out of shape on series 1

Thanks for the video buddy ..i copied you and it went well.. just putting the bumper back on and getting the bolts lined up took forever but taking it off and replacing the light was easy.

hi there,you didnt show us how the wire plug go,s on the back of the light,i have tried so many times but can not get the red clamp clip too go all the way in locking it together.cheers.

This helped alot. Iv got a ve ss with halo demon headlights ones got a top broken mount😢 im going to have a crack at plastic welding it back together as their $1200 a set and cant buy one anywhere.

Did you Question yoirself afterwards .. ie For all of the work that I did just to replace the Holden headlights with chinese copy's " Should have I just sanded mine ?" 180, 500 then 1200 grit Wet n dry ???

Hello, goodnight. This headlights are of TYC, right? I see on Ebay for my Holden Berlina VE Series II. But, they are as genuine Holden? As same quality? I’m thinking seriously in buy, but some fear of the quality be smaller in relation to genuine Holden present in vehicle. Something tell me about this ?

Can anyone respond to this Vid in the Comments .. This is a good Vid on how much work is involved to replace Headlights in a VE🇦🇺 BUT ... What this RU-vidr does not suggest (and I have asked) .. Is it Easier to: Polish Out the faded Clear Coat to Restore the old ones Rather than buy Chinese $130 ones and go through this Entire exercise (which must take 4hrs?) I like how this is the only vid showing VE Headlights are not simple to change, but I dont like that this RU-vidr will not give any Hindsight into whether He thinks its better to use new China Headlight or to Just Re-polish the Originals ? ? ?
