I've had this ice cream flavour, it's delicious! And out of all the vegan ice cream I've had, cashew is the best, much better than coconut. So delicious has this cashew only flavour, or its their vanilla flavour, but it tastes like a delicious cookie dough or something, it's to die for!

Made the ice cream cake with the brownie base from the video. A layer of sliced bananas and for the ice cream part I used Ben and Jerry non dairy vegan chunky monkey favor ice cream. Same topping and added a little coconut whip cream when served. Turned out so delicious. My husband had to as a few times if it was really vegan.

Chocolate Unicorn the best advice I can give you is RU-vid their is so many vegan RU-vid channels for people just starting vegan to diff. kinds of vegans and just remember it's not gonna happen over night considering theirs your vegan diet and vegan products such as clothes etc..

Chocolate Unicorn going vegan doesn't guarantee you'll lose weight. veganism is an ethical stance (for animals, environment, people, etc) and it happens to include a plant based diet. i didn't lose weight going vegan, but i love that i'm treating my body better and more connected to the earth. sorry for my long comment lol

Desiree Hawkins how girl!? It's all about substitutes, if you're not trying to be healthy, just ethical, then you can take any recipe ad sub out the eggs, milk, and butter for vegan margarine or earth balance and you're good!

i really recomend using coconut cream instead of oil to the chocolate sause, it work amazing (and it melts under influance of the heat). Ps.grrat to pancakes!

Hi Olga. Could you explain why you say that almond flour is just ground almonds? As far as I know, actual almond flour is dried pulp that's left from making almond milk. You can even buy a commercial version.

I subscribe to your channel because it's time for me to make changes on my diet, every time I eat meat I get sick really bad and I have high cholesterol and pre diabetes. When I saw you can make desserts without eggs and milk which I drink coconut milk now, I cried because I love sweets but you have a healthy way of making it. thank you I wonder if you have video for beginning vegan?

I try to find recipes that are also sugar free if you can make more of them. I do use Maple Syrup and Truvia though

Made this today but substituted the almond flour with oat cause it's all I had. It did it turn out well. At first it seemed like too much flour, and when I mixed the wet with the dry ingredients it felt like a big ball of lumpy dough, I could barely mix it. Almost like cookie batter. It didn't pour at all, unlike yours. I already baked it but it's not nearly enough to fit my springform pan(same as yours). Maybe I could add it to a food processor and add something to make it runny? What do you propose?

What do you use as cheese? That's the only thing we can't give up. We have tried so many different brands and they just taste like chemicals and salt.

I’m allergic to dairy, so essentially I’ve been dairy free my whole life. Over the years I have experienced a lot of chemical and salt tasting cheese, but I’ve been using Daiya Cheese now for about a year, and it’s pretty good. I also enjoy cheese made out of nuts, because they tend to be tangy and not taste like chemicals.

Cheese was also my problem, and No version of alternate will ever get that amount of fat and texture and taste (7-12 year cheddar.) Try to not think of alternate processed cheese products for vegans are not dairy cheese but a different ingredient. I had to abstain from anything cheese like, Nutritional yeast, cheeze products, et al., for almost two years until i could find some I liked. These tend to be only feta like products taste good to me, the others still taste funky. I never knew how great a pizza can taste until I did not en robe it with cheese. And I am too lazy to try to make my own. Now that I am off all dairy for over 3 years I found I have a problem with it so good luck.

Okay I'm impressed. I saw this in my description box and thought "Let me guess. The crust is dates and the ice cream in bananas. 🙄" because the vegan community does stuff like that ALL THE TIME and somehow I freakin' HATE dates.
