OMG, HOW ARE YOU VEGAN IN CHINA?
Follow me, a vegan here in Shanghai, China as I vlog as the food that I ate today. I also order my food in fluent Mandarin Chinese!
Anyway, here is some of the deliciousness that I ate so... come along for the journey as I take you to and back from a vegan bakery called Wow! Sugar (我不甜) in Songjiang, a district that is very, very far away from Shanghai's city center. I order pretzel bread with purple potato filling, New York style vegan cheesecake, pineapple bread, and bread with coffee filling. You get to see some of the stares that I get, hear me speak in Chinese, and see some of the sights and sounds of Shanghai, China. Also I'll show you how I keep my phone's battery charged all day long (rental phone chargers), the Shanghai metro station (including how the metro station looks during rush hour traffic), how I take a bus via the bus station parking lot, and a tiny bit of the nightlife here in Shanghai like people ordering fruit and people playing music.
Oh yea, did I mention a security guard shouts "I LOVE YOU" at me in English?
