AS IS is usually the case in these cases, this was a little strange. My daughter had a PT cruiser with 101,000 mile but it was in great shape. She was moving to Brazil for 2 years and I told her I'd sell it and put the money in savings for when she came back and needed a car. These people bought it and loved it and I ended up giving them a $300 discount. A week later this guy calls and says, "is this the guy selling the PT Cruiser?" I said, "it's already been sold" He said, "I want my money back" I said, "Dude I gave you $300 off and it was a great car and read your bill of Sale, AS IS" He hung up on me. I started to say, Man don't you watch the peoples court. Always wonder what his problem was it was a great car and never had a problem with it.

And let this, and many other cases, be a lesson to always bring any paperwork you have that could be relevant, because the judge could always ask for proof of what you just said.

The Plaintiff definitely tried to trade HER GRANDMA'S car(after transferring it into her own name) and had second thoughts after a week. Also, it's pretty ballsy to drop off one car, while also keeping the other. I think BOTH litigants put bandaids on any issues their car had and tried to unload it on someone else.
