I've been diving deep into classic movies lately, but I'm also curious about how film reviews factor into it. With the global economy being so unpredictable, do you think it affects how classic movies are perceived and reviewed?

I swear if venom 3 isn't some what enjoyable I'm crashing out

So it starts off with someone wanting to pre-emptively kill a spider hero before they get a chance to kill THEM in the future...that's just the set up for "Madame Web".

Honestly, i would've preferred if the third film would have just had Venom fight a lesser known Spider-man villain. Venom fights Mr. Negative and the demons in San Francisco. And if they couldn't resist having Venom fight a symbiote for a third time have Mr. Negative make/wear the Anti-Venom symbiote.

Something tells me Venom’s plot armor is gonna be at an all time high in this movie as he went from struggling in a 1v1 against Riot and Carnage to now getting jumped by a symbiote group and the Jury.

Tbh, this is probably the best plot of all the venom films. Sure, carnage isn’t gonna be in it but with all the symbiotes to show in the final movie is gonna be hype. The only Sony Spider-Man movies that actually put in a little effort. Plus, I love a lot of villains.

Excited to see new symbitoes live action, that’s about it so far. I wish they could’ve incorporated Spiderman better, but hopefully we’ll see that done with the MCU. Best I can hope for is a fun action packed movie, not expecting a whole lot more.

I’m not gonna lie. This movie seems like it’s gonna be fun no matter if it flops or is a success. Sony managed to suprise us by turning a comic book villain into somewhat of an anti hero/superhero

I enjoy the Venom movies. They are mid as hell, but they are always fun. I have my gripes with them, but I'm looking forward to see how they end the trilogy. My bets will be that Eddie and Venom will die protecting Peter, and then they'll throw in a flashforward tease of a Spider-Man at the end(just for it to lead nowhere), and/or they'll cut back to the MCU to show the little piece left behind slowly making it's way towards MCU Peter(and potentially visualize in some way it viewing the events of the Venom Trilogy via the hivemind).

This doesnt add up, at the end of mrobius, they mention spiderman, showing the fact that spiderman already exsists, amd this is after venom is brought up in the movie, so spiderman is already grown up

The plot is kind of good, the one thing I don't like is how Toxin is gonna "birth" Scream, Lasher and the other Life Foundation symbiotes besides Riot (cuz Riot's dead) I personally hope that the Life Foundation symbiotes are still spawned from Venom, maybe they could somehow separate Venom and Eddie and kidnap Venom to forcefully spawn more symbiotes or something

I will say, I'll commend Sony for at least trying something different. This seems to have very loose similarities to the comics where Eddie has a son named Dylan, where he pretends to be his brother to protect him. Regardless, I'm gonna wait for a trailer before I have any solid opinions, because as we've seen before, Sony can flip the script at the last second. I'm just happy we're getting Patrick Mulligan Toxin in something since he was unceremoniously killed off-panel in the comics.

I feel like that guard that said “please I have a family” in the second Venom movie will be the one related to the military group cause why else would they focus on something like that, and the thing with Toxin wanting to kill monsters by him saying “monsters” at the end of the second movie, there was a lot that set up this next Venom film, I can’t wait to see Scream on the big screen, and I probably will check out this next movie as it does sound kind of interesting tbh
