I don't know about you but Venom is a crazy character to fight, and it showed when I fought this Venom in brakcet at Wednesday Night Fights for Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator 2. Watch me try to tear through this set against a character trying to tear through this pool game

honestly?? its all about timing. you wanna watch them and how they move and probably specifically you’d want to wait until theres a little bit of “dead air” to make any big moves

Accent Core Venom is the character that finally made me realize my favorite playstyle is to get in my opponent’s face and smother them with 50/50s till they die. It's how I finally settled on mains, and now I'm wild and happy.

Considering many mechanics and general gameplans of characters stayed the same in the transition to Strive, I'd say familiarizing yourself with Guilty Gear via Rev2 actually isn't that bad an idea. Lots of things changed, lots of things stayed the same.

A “wild” player is unafraid to just walk up at you and press buttons. They’re in your face, pressing things that are either crazy reads, punishable moves, or just yknow mashing
