"My character is constantly crying" what a mood hahaha! 😆 I do agree that the pace is very slow, it took me some time to fully enjoy it! I do like it because I love deckbuilder games such as Slay the Spire!
@ircha I don’t remember what official site, but I read that the MC of this game is supposed to be “androgynous,” which makes me lmao, because everyone I know calls the MC a “she/her.” There’s NO androgyne about this MC.
I have over 80 hours in it since it was released on the switch. I have basically finished it, but there is an update coming in 7 days with bug fixes and more content. It just scratched all the right itches for my brain. I love it!
IrchaGaming FINALLY popped up in the feed. Good Job YT notifications. 👏 Didn't realize how much I missed her Switch reviews until YT notified me. Another Must Buy. Heck, I'll admit that a substantial portion of my Switch Game collection was due to her reviews. #WorthIt
I really wish there was a faster way between islands once you’ve found an island. Like maybe once you complete the dungeon you’re able to fast travel or something but I’m getting really annoyed having to keep looking at my map to figure out how to get back to a specific island 😅
When "Plucky Squire" comes out in September, will you be reviewing it? It looks very cute. The video at the last Nintendo Update showed you starting in a storybook book, 2D platform. Then when antagonist comes after, you end up pushed outside the book into the 3D world. As you play the game, you switch btwn the 2d and 3d worlds. It looks like it is a cozy action/puzzle platform with a fun story. I'd love to see your opinion on it and if it feels worth it to you before buying cuz i trust your opinion on games. Your reviews are always spot on. 👌
It's a game that's a jack of all trades, master of none. I put a lot of time into it, but a lot of the time it still feels very empty, it's very collector oriented which can get a bit monotonous. In my opinion the farming is lacking, the social aspects are lacking, the story is kind of arbitrary and aimless, the combat I will say is very unique but still kinda meh, and I personally think you should be able to edit your character with some customization options. It still needs polishing before they went for a full on release on Switch and all that but doesn't surprise me. I know, a lot of negative opinions, but it's still a pretty good little gem heading in a pretty good direction.
I think for me the focus on monster collecting/card battling refreshing. Because farming sims typically overwhelm me but I do wish to get into it so this is kind of the perfect mix for me. The light farming elements are just enough to keep me satisfied without getting bored or overwhelmed (growing crops snd collecting things for other games for example usually started to feel like a chore to me after a while) But I agree its kind of a middling experience over all. Also I'm sad to hear its stilla little glitchy on switch. I was hoping those problems would be fixed since it already runs so poorly on my shitty laptop I thought about buying it for switch. Maybe I'll just wait till it goes on super sale.
I agree. I find it a decent game, close to good, but after starting up Everafter Falls it’s really hard to pick this one up again. I think 6/10 is a perfect score for it really.
Your Mom and Dad kicks you out of the house was very tough starting point🙂I missed date because of dungeon was very good explanation, I will copy this info to my notebook. Game fonts and icons has odd way to shrink when you get older. Thank You for great review!
I hear combat... Me running away 😅. I dont like battles at all what looks like this. It destroys gameplay of alot of games. It looks good tho, but nope... Thanks for the review!
I added it to my wish list on the switch if it becomes cheaper i might pick it up. For me any game that has cards in it usually sucks and I don’t get into it. These games are hit or miss but did enjoy my time at Portia, wylde flowers, dragon quest builders.
Do NOT buy this game on SWITCH. It has game breaking bug where everything dissapears and you cant play game anymore unless you reset game and start from beginning or you must create save files every 10min.
@@puglover4269 Yea that's sadly common when porting game to others device, shame that there didn't seems to have a lot of game testing with the switch port before release 😅 But again, the PC release work just fine plus is far more quicker. On switch i keep experiencing slower frames rates with others game, so I didn't even try to run Moonstone Island on it lmao
Yay an Ircha video! The only downside for me is character customisation and lack of story dialogue but other than that this game does look simple. Not sure if I’ll pick it up. 😅
I like deck builders, but this one never really caught my eye for some reason. And I'm looking forward to playing through Ova Magica, so I'm not sure I'll be getting anything else this month!
Loving the energy today, Ircha! As for the game, looks fun but the lack of a character creator kills it for me. Especially in this kind of game, I love to make the character look like myself.
what console and what have you already played? Stardew Valley, the Sims, My Time at Sandrock, Coral Island, Animal Crossing, Sun Haven, Two Point Hospital/Campus
