The guy at the Verizon store recommended this when I went in to get a SIM card for my Peplink router. It’s not technically meant for nomad living, but it’s been working great my first night. I’m paying $35/month and getting 150mb+ speeds even while moving. I’ll still be getting a second data plan for redundancy, but zero complaints so far. And by the way, I got into this mess when Starlink decided to start throttling customers with the RV plan. I’m in the middle of a job search and can’t really afford dropped Zoom calls.
How's that Verizon do in a cellular dead zone? That's the benefit of Starlink. My I'm posting this on my Starlink which has obstructions and still works like a champ. Cellular dead zone. Streaming HD with no buffering. WiFi calling too. I didn't think it would even work with the little open sky I have. Extremely impressed.
As a authorize Verizon dealer. Thank you for this video. The RV world keeps speaking on starlink when they need to go with Verizon. If you have a problem with it just use a different address and you'll get it because it's portable.
I took it 3 hours away last week. I didn’t change my address at all with Verizon and it worked flawlessly at my camp site. I lost my iPhone in the ocean, Verizon helped me do my insurance claim and I got a new phone the day before I left… phone has 320gb in the cloud back up and I didn’t want it sucking up my “unlimited” data lol so I plugged the Wi-Fi up in my truck on the 3 hour drive back, it worked flawlessly downloading my back up from the cloud.
Honestly I wish I could get this Verizon keeps telling me my address isn’t eligible because I’m in a rural area and only satellite service available which sucks
