Following on from my unboxing video this one shows the swap out of the Verreal parts for the Boundmotor direct drive and the 120 Discovery Cloudwheels. It was a straight forward build with just the hall sensor connectors needing to be swapped. I pulled the wired pins from the Boundmotor cables removed the Verreal connector and swapped them over.

I test road yesterday and its a big improvement, the cloud wheels are awesome on rough UK autumn surfaces, not fully speed tested yet (I'm more of a smooth roller carving turns), turns are way better and the wheel base is longer so more stable too. Motors feel really strong and regen is better (smoother). I will properly test it out and post back my findings.
If you have a Verreal board or one of the many similar hub motor type boars its well worth the upgrade, also means you can swap out for different wheel type too.
The kit was delivered quickly (6 days) and Boundmotor kept me up to date with the order and dispatch to the UK. The motor kit is very well made and looks awesome too. The Cloudwheels also are really well made and look amazing, a lot lighter than I was expecting too.
