Rens Gun wouldn't work because the orb of sight banishes all falsehoods. This would render the fake gun useless.

This was a more amazing finale than I thought and at a point I thought anyone could win, thought I agree with the verdict and the most likely scenario is for Rin to avoid battling either of them only interrupting occasionally so he can analyze both there attacks, strengths, and weaknesses. I loved the video and I'm excited for season 2, keep up the good work.

Pretty good, the strategy with Kurusu was something to be expected. Unlike the other two, he had more time to strategies. Thieves are always the better schemer I suppose. A pity Makoto was put down so easily. At least he went 2nd place. :P

Damn it! I was rooting for Yu but I genuinely agree Akira/Ren would come up a plan just to overwhelm Yu which was teaming up with Minato/Makoto (which I'm kinda salty about, I'm right behind Margaret being it was cheating 😂) If Akira/Ren wasn't such a tactician, Yu definitely has the highest chance to win being Izanagi can definitely beat both Orpheus and Arsene weakening the persona user for Yu to perform the finishing blow but it's just my opinion and I completely agree on the scenarios that have happened. The Investigation Team are such goofballs and that's why I love em'!

Something that stood out, you mention that Ren has no blade training, this is true, but he does have some basic fighting stances taught to him after working out in the gym enough.

You don't need a evoker to activate a persona in persona 3 it puts the fear that gives the persona you don't need an evoker so technically makoto could have still activated without his evoker.

Another thought that just came to my mind. If 2nd Tier Personas are essentially just upgraded versions of their initial Persona's but with a few Resistance/Weakness changes added in as well as a unique move, if we included Raoul as a canonical 2nd Tier to Arsene then Joker becomes even more powerful. If we go by this logic Joker would have access to both Heat Riser and Concentrate as technically Raoul would have Arsene's moveset. Along with also having Ali Dance which would halve any of Makoto or Yu's attacks as well as having Curse Amp which would boost Joker's Curse attacks which would absolutely devastate Orpheus. Although this is a massive stretch, Raoul isn't canon as of this time/ever will be so we can't use it lol.

Makotos evoker might work like jokers fake gun- J gun only works because the opponent thinks it is a real gun therefore it works as one-so if joker and Yu believe that Makoto has a real gun it might work like jokers

I don't remember if it was in P5 Vanilla or not, but Arsene has Dream Needle and would have medium chances to make Yu fall asleep to make him volnurable, making Ren's chances to win even higher.

Why is the intro almost an entire minute long?

Personally I think even with all personas available Ren takes the victory since he has picaro versions of both Makotos and Yus ultimate personas. Which in their descriptions directly state that they're just stronger versions because they became the tricksters mask.

As much as I may love Makoto, he's got the biggest disadvantage Persona wise since he requires a device to activate his. All Yu and Ren gotta do is destroy/get rid of his Evoker and he's stuck to using swords. Yu can use tarot cards to summon Izanagi while Ren's Mask acts as his way of summoning Arsene, so Makoto has gotta be extra careful when in this fight.

Makoto can't beat Joker or Yu since Orpheos is weak to both curse and electricity.

Unsurprising Ren & Makoto would gang up on Yu considering out of their main personas, Izanagi is stronger than both of them. But that simply just puts a target on Yu's back. And they'd wanna get rid of him asap. In fact if they were allowed their world and universe upgrades, I think because of this, Yu would use his first.

You know the most messed up thing about this video we're taking the only thing that make these characters special the wild card and we're throwing that out the window wild card who yeah we don't need it it's not only you know the most broken thing in persona and all these persona protagonist draw the short of the stick especially yu no izunagi no okami.

I think makoto would win just barely, with how much you praised his speed I don't think a tactic like shooting his evoker and slashing his neck would work, if he losylt his evoker he could zoom about dodging attacks while picking up his evoker, summoning Orpheus and get close enough to slam arsenes head and land a fatal blow on joker

I know this is a 3 yr old video but I have a complaint that Makoto can’t use his persona without the Evoker. You set the battle in the velvet room. If Yu can call upon his persona which can only be done in the TV world then this means Makoto can use his without the evoker as it was mentioned in P4A that being in the TV world makes summoning them easier for the P3 cast. Additionally Joker’s props become real due to the nature of the meta verse. In order for them to fight each other and use their skills you have to combine the elements of their respective worlds. In other words, you buffed Makoto to now be able to summon his persona without the Evoker and gave him a functioning gun thanks to the affects of the metaverse. One other strategy that wasn’t used was recalling a persona and summoning it back to save their personas. Also, any clash of blades between Ren and the other 2 will result in him losing his weapon since Makoto and Yu can 2 hand their weapons while Ren is not only revers gripping his dagger but still using one hand. Lastly the scenario of Ren getting pulled to Makoto by the grapple hook on his wrist is a game over for Ren. If the device is strong enough to pull Ren around and allow him to do the stuff he does, then it’s durable enough to withstand Makoto pulling Ren around. Especially because it’s enhanced by the metaverse. Ren is at Makoto’s mercy.

This battle was not about who the best person user is but instead who has the best persona because it feels about the best personas user then makoto would win easily now I still think it's pretty stupid to take away the entire thing special about them the wild card and also I don't know if these are the end game characters you know does makoto is pretty much a persona on his own because you know that one time he sealed away NYX.

Personally, I think Ren takes this fight. That is if we take each person from after their highest point. Which in Ren's case is after defeating Adam, who by my interpretation of statements should be well above Nyx. Reason 1. Adam is the source and destination of existence, so basically the beginning and the end. Death has a start and an end, so that could be one reason for Adam being stronger 2. Azathoth, who is weaker than Adam, is the master of Nyarlathothep, who is one of the top dogs of SMT/Persona franchise. It is a being who plays games with Philemon for fun, who is the master of Igor. That being is weaker than Adam according to P5 Reason 3. Takuto stated that he would rewrite the universe with his own version, that's a bit higher on the power-scale than anything Nyx dreamed of Since Nyx is part of the Collective Unconsciousness, (arguments can be made if she exists wholly as part of it or is in-between realms as she did physically crash into the Earth at one point) generally she is there with Nyarla and Philemon in terms of power. At highest she is as powerful as Azathoth if you really highball her powers, but Adam is even stronger than that seeing as Adam is stronger than Azathoth and Ren defeated Adam so 1+1 equals Ren is at least somewhere around there in terms of powers. And Takuto did say that even if he were to redo the fight he would just lose again.

I don’t think yu is the most experienced with a sword especially with his weeb stance
