My Dad bought a 1968 blue Corvette brand new it had a 427 tri-power, hard top, I don't know what else. He has told many Stories about that car and it's terrible driving habits in the summer. Sadly never got to see the car myself. It was stolen before I was even born and totalled. However, in 2005 for a 60th birthday he bought himself a brand new C6. It is hands-down the best car for road trips and admittedly my daily driver now fantastic driving car and 40 MGP is tough to beat.

First car i learned to drive in is a 1990 triple black C4 corvette with a built motor making 600hp. Not your typical car to learn in!

Rob.. the Corvette roll.. I'm 64, 6'4" 255 pounds, with gray hair..and size 16 shoe. I shoe horn myself into my red 84 and drive in my socks.. I love every minute of owning a Corvette..

Bought a C6 Vette from Barry a couple years ago. 6 speed manual, white w/red interior, my son and I flew down and drove it 10 hours home to Northern Ohio. Great car and a great guy!

Last year I bought a C6 Zo6 55k miles, black on black and have loved every second in that car. I’m the second owner, it came from Canada. It was honestly the first time I’ve bought a vehicle that I was truly happy about. One of my dream cars and now it’s all mine forever.

Sold my 1970 C3 Corvette bronze convertible with LS5, automatic and air. Was one of 13 Shriner parade cars from Omaha. It had all paperwork starting with dealer order form to Chevy. Great looking car.

I love hearing these stories about corvettes. I used to drive my dads old C4 in high school. As the nerdy kid, it was fun watching people realize I had some cool in me too. The dream of buying a C6 Z06 is what is getting me through college. Thanks a TON Rabbit!

I daily a 2001 red convertible corvette and I love it. I almost had it for 2 years. It's my first corvette and always my childhood dream car.

Love those yellow C5’s, my folks drove a Chevy van when those cars were new so we’d get to see them in the showroom whenever the van went for repairs (often lol).

I’ll be honest. I’m a big Ford guy but I’m a sucker for a nice Corvette. Pretty much any model Corvette. Especially a targa top red 6 speed C5 Vette with black interior, or a C2 or C3. I like the C4 pretty good too and I love the C7. Not as big on a C6 but I still like em. Never seen a C1 or the new C8 in person to form an real opinion on them yet though.

Rob...fantastic video...learnt me some things. My nephew has had a 96 c4 for about 6months. Doesnt have the LT4 cuz its an auto but...it is Corvette red! Cant wait to see more of your cars. Hope to catch you at a car meet soon! Peace n chickengrease!

I live in Sidney, Ohio. Im about 30 min from Bud's Corvettes up in St. Marys, Ohio. I've been to many Corvette events up there although I don't own a Corvette. My neighbor has a 92 Roadster that he bought new. He and his wife are in their 80's now and still take it out regularly if the weather is good. I love the channel!

Yes sir, a C3 with an L88 is arguably one of the top 5 best looking cars in the world if you ask me. Out at night in the city watching all the lights reflecting on those beautiful angles... Magic ! So... when are you gonna road test the 2020 for us Mr.Rabbit ?

Rob, I need to take you with me when I finally decide to get a Vette. Looking at a couple including a grey C5 convertible. Incredible how cheap C5s are going for. Can find them all day long for under $15k

I used to hate C4s but one day I just started loving them. Great value and a fun car. I like the 85 the best which is what I have. Coolest stock wheels out of all of them imo.

Interesting assertion about spec on C3s. I put a BBC 427 in my 76 Corvette but then replaced the running gear with far newer stuff (C5 front/SS 2010 Camaro rear) and flares etc.... it will eat the old vette for lunch. LS is fun, but I need my BBC and sidepipes.

Love all those vettes. I own a triple black 2000 C5 convertible and wouldn't trade it for the world. Back in 2020 I thought the same thing Rob did when he said the manual has to come back to the corvette at some point. I don't know about him but I changed my thinking on that. Not only do I think GM will never bring a manual back to a Vette, I think we are heading to the point where GM won't even put an engine in the corvette. I'm ok with the idea of electric subcompacts, sedans, ect. But an electric Camaro, Mustang or even pickup truck just seems wrong to me. Electric Corvette seems downright sacrilegious.

What would you think about a 1968 convertible in Goodwood green with green vinyl interior & black top, 327 & 4 speed for $9000??? It runs & drives but needs a full restoration. Would you buy & restore? or Restomod???

My favorite of the Corvettes are the C3's with a close second being the C2's followed by the C1's , C5's , C6 , C7's , C8's in that order . My least favorite Corvette is the C4's .

Not a big corvette fan in the first place, but to me, anything past a C3 isn't really a Corvette. I don't care for them looking just about like everything else on the road. Aero styling has made just about everything look the same. Cubic inches son't really mean that much when it comes to top speed, only quickness. The land speed record for a wheel driven piston powered car is 439 Mph. The car uses a 348 cubic inch engine to get that speed. Oddly, that was their backup engine, their larger engine blew up, so the more stock 348 was used. The transmission and streamlining does more to get it up to speed. I think it has like 15 gears or something like that. Doesn't get there quick, but does get there.

So which one did you buy for your friend ?
