Serious props to Powder's voice actress. The way she's able to mimic the sound of straining to talk through the lump in your throat while sobbing and gasping is spot on. Most adult actresses can't even channel this. This girl is a prodigy.
@@miajenness8938 Whoa! Speak of the devil. Your performance as Powder was unreal, Mia. Incredible work. Hope you're proud of that. Keep doin what you're doin.
The most crushing thing here is the fact that both of their reactions are completely excusable, this is just such an utterly horrible situation, and they're both basically children...
I’ve seen people bash Vi much more than Powder but it’s very true that both their reactions are justified - whereas Powder was concerned with Vi hating her (due to her attachment and abandonment issues and wanting to be useful to not be abandoned), VI’s anger issues caused her to slap her sister. Though tbh a slap, considering the giant mistake Powder just made, seems smaller in comparison.
@Mari it wasn’t even on purpose, I think ppl should be able to understand tho, Powder literally killed so many ppl. How would you react? Kindly hugging her and accept what she did? Maybe go to a corner and think it out? Ppl do have anger issues and Violet didn’t mean to make Powder bleed either.
Arcane is so amazing 'cause u cant say anything that the director shouldve done or not. Everything fits perfectly, and in this case u cant say one shouldve reacted better. The story is just that sad for the characters

The voice acting and animation definitely captured a child's uncontrollable crying in a way I don't think I've ever seen in an animation. The stumbling over words, limited sentences, and trembling/minor flinches in Powder's arms and body are a tremendous capturation of a child in emotional torment. Wonderfully done, Riot.
Like I’m pretty sure they animated and made valorant which is fucking insane to me, their animation was always amazing to me, and this just…god man. This is just depressing to watch on how amazing it is. Captures the moment.
you explained that perfectly!! i came here right after watching this to see how people felt.... there has never been a movie that has captured a childs agony, pain like this one scene has! ... ive seen ALOT of movies and always been disappointed in how a childs emotions are portrayed..... i just wanted to reach into the screen and pick her up and hold her tight..... when she screamed "i need you, please dont leave" my goodness.... could you walk away from her like that?
When she was in her room and “left behind” from the group. The way she shrieked and kept hitting her head was an incredible touch. Lots of details like that, that just took this show to another level
it hits harder knowing that vi probably realized what she'd done after hitting powder and separated herself from the situation to avoid her worsening it 😭 and once she recollects herself and sees silco standing over powder and tries to save her, she's pulled away, leaving powder to forever remember that moment as vi "abandoning" her 😭😭😭
She probably now thinks Jinx is dead. Leading to her not even searching for Jinx, which in turn cements Jinxs hatred of Vi since it shows that Vi truly abandoned her. Truly, this is a cesspool of horrible misunderstandings all around.
@@rexerator my guess would be she is going to be in jail for a while, then the Underground will rise up and make it super hard for her to search Powder

It cuts so deep when you realize it's a mirror of Vander and Silco's past. It especially hit me when jinx said that "she's not my sister anymore," and Silco glances over at Vander and reassures jinx that he will show "them".
True, I thought silco gonna be that typical villain but that one scene when he glance over vander during that jinx line actually carve more depth into silco as a charcter. Plus his motivation is justifiable. The problem is his methods.
Usually the villain all of a sudden taking someone In or having weird change of hearts is really off putting but in this series it was actually perfect and it made a lot of sense that he understood her probably the most in that moment and knew he had been there it was really well done
Jayce and Viktor might follow the same theme, of two people with an intensely close relationship that eventually goes awry. Jayce and Viktor's relationship shows the beginning of one, Vi and Jinx's shows the falling out, and Vander and Silco shows the aftermath, how their conflicted relationships ended up shaping their destinies
"I...I didn't...I was saving you..." That line has hurt me more than I ever expected. It's the last vestiges of Powder's optimism, her hopefulness that she'd actually done something right...even seeing Vander lying dead behind Vi, she has to hold onto that, has to believe that her success in finally getting her bomb to work was a good thing. Then she sees Claggor's goggles, spattered with his own blood. And she realizes that no, this wasn't a good thing. This was a TERRIBLE thing. In her efforts to save her family, she had *killed* them. And she finally breaks down. This girl is NINE years old according to Jinx's Arcane VA. Shit hurts, man.
@@jennifer3744 After my first watch I placed Powder's age in act 1 around 8-10 years old and around 18-20 in act 2. My guess is the time jump is 10 years.

Mia Sinclair Jenness was doing an amazing job. She is really underrated, didn't know about her until you pointed it out, but I swear! That voice crack at the end when Jinx/powder is on her last thread and calling for Vi, that sounded so natural, I was sold. This series really did well collecting their cast.
Though I guess the voice makes a lot more since Mia Sinclair Jenness 15 years old, and so is powder I assume in the first act, thank you for helping me find another great up and coming voice actor. God that voice crack still breaks me heart.

@@azirdotwav Well I think even though Swain not in Piltover or Zaun, the quote still shows that Riot may have planned for the plot before, which is cool since the interactions make League somewhat a universe than just a simple game at some points.
Jesus Christ this shit absolutely crushed me. The performance and animation of both vi and jinx was soooooo good, conveys so much pain. After I saw it I had to make a minute cause it really got to me. I felt so bad for both of them.
RIGHT RIGHT? I never seen such powerful performance, god damn, no even live films i don't remember seen such incredible scene, so much pain on those expressions, its so good, feels so real!
everything went so horribly wrong. Vi ALWAYS told Powder that she is ready, she can do it, always supported her, encouraged her. she was that pillar that Powder needed. but this one time Vi told her "you're not ready". and everything went in the worst way possible: the bomb, had it not exploded, it did perfect: it distracted that freak long enough: the wall was breached, Vander was freed. but the bomb DID explode, and that one chance for everyone to escape disappeared. Vi's own pillar, her mentor, her adopted father, was gone, with her friends. she was broken, she could not support Powder through this. this seeming betrayal and abandonment, added to Powder's already mental frailness, gave birth to Jinx. what a sad origin story :(
1:04 Vi looks away when saying Mylo. Blinking, away tears and unable too look powder in the eye when saying his name The small little details added to every scene is just incredible
I noticed that on that scene. And yes, my interpretation was she knew she was lying. She just said that cause she was angry, and she knew it the moment she said it. Soooo saaaad what frustration does to people
Yeah, Mia Sinclair Jenness portraying the younger version of Jinx (Powder) is just on another level, I am serious. That voice crack, such an amzing young talent.
It's crazy how good the voice acting is. Like damn. I've heard a lot of English VAs in so many dub animes but goddamn this is the single best one I've ever heard. It's so real. And that's hard to pull off.
@@Joshuaki221 I remember something. I've seen this level of acting once before. Young Justice Outsiders. After Victor became Cyborg he tore into his father. That scolding was so realistic that I could actually feel all that hostility Vic was exerting. Remember that?
Vi looking at the blood on the inside of her hand feels significant to me. She compares it to the blood on her fists through combat, and you can tell she’s affected that the open hand that she could have offered to powder is now stained with her blood. This episode was amazing.
To add more drama into this, Powder started crying right after Vi held her face tight. The tears of her young sister on her hand... that really hurts to watch :'(
As you can read from Warwick's Lore, "I only remember a little girl screaming a name... And blood.." Singed took Vander after this scene in his lab to transform him into a monster that feeds himself with flesh and blood, driven by anger, fear and pain. The Lore connection to the movie is absolutely fantastic. Warwick was born here. A monster with "blurry memories", as he says. Read Warwick's story and biography, it's so good.

Poor powder she had what's coming to her she's nothing but a jinx like everybody said and she caused the deaths of her whole entire family screw powder we should have listened and stayed put like she was told she knew exactly what that damn thing was going to do she knew it would explode and cause real bad damage and she still did it anyways.
I want to hug both Vi and Powder. I'm not actually mad at Vi for being angry at powder for blowing up the building because she is a child and she just went through a very traumatizing situation once again, so it'd be unrealistic for her to be all calm and rational after that, though Powder is probably going to live the rest of her life for that guilt, even though she really was trying to save her sister but didn't think things through, and thinking her sister abandoned her when she was actually taken
Vi could care less about Powder blowing up a building. It was the death of their friends due to Powders bomb that angered Vi. If Powder didn’t set that bomb off, Vi and their friends might still be alive. Same with Vander. Also, Vi told Powder to stay put at their home/house. Powder disobeyed Vi and her wishes for Powder to stay out of it.
@@noxiouskunk7069 no, very likely they would've died with or without that bomb. The mutant was about to open the door and Silco had much more man behind him. Vander refused to fight and Vi was weakened. It's easy to put all the blame onto powder however the point od Arcane is that things are not black amd white. Vi started all that by doing thinfs that Vander told her not to do and putting everyone in danger. Then she again fights against Vander and she goes against his orders. Then she tells Powder to hide the stones. Vander himself would've died because of Vi. With her actions Vi set a bad example for Jinx too. On the other side Jinx is a 9 years old who's seeing her family about to die. She has an opening she must try to save them. She sees Vi fight and lose and her team back off. The mutant is about to break the door, so she throws the bomb. And it works, evem though 2 people of their team died. The point of Arcane is showing all the sides of the coin and the effects of war, greed , poverty, pain, abandonment etc.
@@user-kr5sf9uc3n The bomb essentially kills 3 people actually. In setting off the bomb, it forces Vander's hand. He sees Vi pinned to the ground and injured by the explosion and he sees Deckard ( That's the kids name ) Deckard is the same kid Vi beat up in that Alleyway in Episode one. He drank shimmer Silco had given him. Anyways, The explosion blew open the door, Vi's injured and pinned down, Mylo and Claggor/Clagger are crushed to death by rocks and debris. Vander's the only one at that time capable enough to try and fend off a mutated Deckard. Sooo Jinx killed 3 of them, not just 2.
@@noxiouskunk7069 The explossion also cut of Savika's arm ( when she jumped to save Silco ). The direct explossion of the bomb killed 2 people. Deckart was wounded amd later killed as a result of the escalating situation. However the explosion did help in injuring him and holding him back for a while. That explossion was also kind of useful because it injured all of Silco's men and kept them away for a little bit. One could argue Vander could've just grabbed Vi and ran away but he stayed back to fight mostly because he was blinded by anger. This unfortunately resulted in his death. My main point was showing to some people there are two sides to every coin. A lot of people tend to see Arcane as good vs bad but the story is more complicated than that. Everyone seems to support Vi because she's the "good" one. Yet they fail to see Vi's mistakes and instead put all the blame in a child. Even as an adult Jinx is mentally unstable. In a war I'd kill her first for being dangerous but I wouldn't turn her onto the personification of greater evil simply because crazy people are neither good nor bad. They're crazy and crazy doesn't care for good or bad. Vi claims to be morally superior yet she fails to do so in many ways. This clash is seen again and again with Jayce, Victor etc.
This scene has so many details, and i havent seen anyone talk about them yet, but i think they are worth a discussion, first lets talk about Powder's reaction, I love it. She's so child like its amazing, the way she just pleads for forgiveness and breaks down in tears repeating the same sentences that are purely emotional, is just so spot on to how a child her age would react to something this overwhelming, then vi hits her, pay attention to Powder's facial expressions, she closes her eyes multiple times from fear as vi grabs her cheeks and the expressions are so godlike, then Powder bleeds from the strike from Vi down to her bandaged palm, vi takes a look at it, realizing that's her sister's blood, looks at her bloodied knuckles and she's probably reminded of Vander's speech to her about violence only creating more problems, instead of solving them, after that realization Vi gets up to cool off and as she does Powder crawls up, lifting her arms infront of her because she wasnt sure what Vi was gonna do and was scared she might hit her, and as Vi walks away Powder calls her by her full name, thats all basically, i just thought it was worth a mention.
Spot on! I don't think I've ever seen such expressive facial animations in anything before. They convey just so much emotion and are so realistic as well, they just make the moment when Powder begins to realize and break down so much more heartbreaking. It'a like really seing a child having a mental breakdown.
I’m pretty sure 90% of people picked up on everything mentioned here , people are raving about this episode BECAUSE of this scene . It’s so loaded with emotion
0:59 “WHY DID YOU LEAVE ME?!” I nearly cried bro the voice acting is *immaculate* it perfectly encapsulates the voice of a scared child who just (unintentionally) messed up
Writing children and teens in media is a very hit or miss. Most of it's usually bad. Here in Arcane, I never had that disconnect. The dialogue and the writing is fantastic. The fight in the first episode was brutal, awkward, messy, and uncomfortable. As it is when kids are fighting. Powder's breakdowns earlier in the episode and here was so authentic to seeing a kid breaking down. It reminded me of some bad mental break downs I had when I was a kid. It honestly felt like it was coming from someone's personal experience. Especially with how messy and uncomfortable it felt.
I think the thing about voice acting is you gotta put at least a little of yourself in the character you're playing. I'm guessing Mia had breakdowns like this as a young child and was picturing herself as that age and she feels like it's happening. During the production of Charlotte's Web (1973) Pamlyn Ferdin really cried while recording the scene where Fern tried to talk her father out of killing Wilbur. Carroll Spinney (Big Bird and Oscar) got emotional easily. The first Sesame Street feature film involved a scene where Big Bird was kidnapped by circus brothers and painted blue. He was supposed to entertain the audience but instead sang a sad song about how homesick he is. According to IMDB, Mr. Spinney broke down after recording the song.
I think what really helps is that the Arcane team was doing the show themselves and had 6 or so years to make it, whereas a majority of media run by big studios are probably rushed. The Arcane team apparently had more time to work on their thing and it must not have been until they were closer to finished before having a set deadline. I think independent projects are more likely to be made better because they have more control than projects done by big studios.
Powders crying was absolutely INCREDIBLE. The way she sobs and tries to turn the focus on Vi leaving her is so realistic, they did an amazing job with animation and of course the voice acting too
Dude the freaking range of emotions Powder goes through here, down to watching her facial expression change at 0:26 , the micro expressions from the shifting eyes as she becomes defensive, the furrowing of the brow, mouth and nose lowering, the nostrils flaring a bit, her eyes growing larger all while she realizes its Vander's body in front of her sister. This scene kills me so much, its so incredibly made. From the VA, to the music and GORGEOUS animation. This show is a masterpiece.

But by doing that, taking out all her rage on Powder, she also creates the Jinx we know today. This is the thing about these two sisters: none of them realize the consecuences of the things they do until it's too late. And that is normal, because both of them are young and not ready and shouldn't have suffered the things they did, but that's how they life just turned out to be for them. I personally love how in their story none of them is really the victim or the villain, things just tragically happened the way they did.

I've read a comment, don't Remember where, about this scene that really stuck with me, about the difference between western and eastern animation. In animes, "ugly crying" as this would have been called, is usually reserved for comic relief moments, while the type of crying used for serious and emotional scene is one where tears rush silently down a stoic and impassive face. Here, instead, we have a full blown manic/panic episode, with screaming and snot and with the face twisting in desperation.
that not true. tons of anime have ugly crying moments that aren’t comic relief. half the crying scenes in naruto are him ugly crying same for deku and the Mc in tokyo revengers and if you’ve seen Your name you’d know as well. it’s kind of a weird claim
Powders uncontrollable whine at 1:55 is what really sold the trauma here for me. All the episodes are amazing in every way, but the animation and voice acting really captures the ugliness of trauma there. It’s not pretty, or aesthetic, or still looking beautiful while gently crying for the sake of being cinematic. It’s gritty, it’s snot running down your face, its begging whoever is around you to stay with you so that you aren’t alone with what’s just happened because you feel like the most fragile thing in the world and your mind physically cannot handle the amount of emotional damage being inflicted. It’s completely sobbing until you can’t breathe, the whites of your eyes turn red and tremors wrack your voice and body. It’s literally your brain racing to make sense of trauma before an overload causes you to destroy yourself. Genuinely never *ever* been so impressed with animation and voice acting as I have been with Arcane.
This moment hits a lot harder once you realize that there is no reconciliation arc after this. My expectation going into this was that the show would go for the classic "families get broken but come back together in the end." trope that leaves everyone with a warm fuzzy feeling inside. But after watching the finale, this moment is retrospectively much darker. This isn't some bump in the road in the sisters' relationship. THIS IS THE END OF THEIR RELATIONSHIP. They tease at the possibility of reconciliation all throughout the season, but after what she did in the finale Powder can't come back at this point. Maybe you could argue that she was being controlled by Silco when she killed all those enforcers, but Silco was already dead when she fired that missile at the council meeting. That was her decision. You can't classify her as a pawn or a victim anymore, Jinx is a mass murderer. She's a full-on villain now. But having seen their origin as fleshed out as we did, we know that she REALLY WAS a sweet, innocent child at some point. The way her trauma and sense of abandonment whittles down her sanity and finally breaks her feels completely real. I've literally never seen a villain that I had so much sympathy for in ANY MEDIUM. The fact that this character, which was essentially created as a Harley Quinn knockoff is so well developed that she can murder innocent people and you still feel an emotional connection to her is such a testament to the strength of the writing. Riot chose to do the uncompromising thing at the risk of pissing off fans and they executed it with unequivocal perfection. This isn't the best "video game adaptation" to come out. This isn't "surprisingly good for a show based off League of Legends" This is the best animated series of all time. 10/10 Please expand Arcane to seven different shows I will watch them all.
Honestly you summed it up perfectly The amount of heart and soul put into this show is insane This scene gave me flashbacks and left a bitter taste in my mouth, but it’s okay The actors are outstanding The artists are Godly like holy shit the animation and backgrounds are incredible The writers must be putting crack in Arcane cause this shit is addictive And my god the music, the music is perfect for every scene
Damn that’s dark but also realistic, a lot of movies/shows or whatever go with the idea of families getting back together no matter what they’ve done to each other but after a while some people just don’t, that’s what makes this whole thing even more gut wrenching because it can happen in real life.
The sudden mix of emotions on Powder's face when she starts to put together what really happened was so painful. The panic in her voice when she was saying "I was just trying to help". This scene was just so overwhelming. The voice acting and the keen attention to detail in the animation fleshing out Powder's breakdown - the tearful choking, trembling and stuttering - was just so heartbreaking. To me, the thing that makes this scene so painful is the fact that I cant bring myself to blame anyone in particular for this tragedy. It was understandable that Powder wanted to help. It was understandable that Vi reacted the way she did. The whole sequence of events from the first botched job to this nightmare was just BAD LUCK, which in turn is the inevitable result of a LACK OF OPTIONS. Something the poor are more familiar with than the rest.

I can't wait for riot make a mmorpg or some game with a open world based on Runeterra, just exploring and doing things and them find the champions through the map, it will give a new air to the fans to experience without the toxicity of moba competicion
@@condes9188 I wish they just make an open world singleplayer. MMO games dumb down lore for gameplay purposes. But knowing riot, a singleplayer would be stretch.
@@pentagram4745 They're actually making an isometric ARPG, along with the MMO which started hiring ppl last December and that upcoming fighting game. All of these were announced in their 10th year anniversary event.
God damn it, Riot! The way she repeatedly says "I only wanted to help!"... fuck, man, you can really feel that cutting pain like a dagger in the stomach. This scene is insanely good, my favorite from the show so far. But then again the whole series has been amazing.
I can't stop watching it... Powder breaking down, crying Vi punching Powder, calling her a "Jinx" Vi leaving her Powder crying again And that painful voice crack in the end... Just amazingly sad 😢
The mistakes Powder makes in every group scene makes this hit like a train. The fact that she never wanted to hurt anyone makes it ten times worse. It’s just heartbreaking.
That high pitched "Why did you leave me!" . Poor girl. That breaks my heart. Her feeling of abandonment hurt her far more than the punch Vi just gave her ever could. It makes sense why she latched on to Silco so quickly.
Jinx's voice actress did a very great job on this scene. it reminds me of Azula's breakdown after her fight with Zuko and Katara at the end of Avatar the Last Airbender. it's a gut wrenching scene and she delivered it really well.
As you can read from Warwick's Lore, "I only remember a little girl screaming a name... And blood.." Singed took Vander after this scene in his lab to transform him into a monster that feeds himself with flesh and blood, driven by anger, fear and pain through the chemicals attached in his body. The Lore connection to the movie is absolutely fantastic. Warwick was born here. A monster with "blurry memories", as he says. Read Warwick's story and biography, its absolutely splendid.
Not only that when VI stands up powder puts up her hands infront of her face thinking she was gonna get beaten ... I think she expected to get punished but not abandoned ... Thats why she went to silko so fast... she expected a beat down but knowing Vi would always take her back ... But when she didn't and walked away from her ... you can see the soul drain out of her eyes
Spoiler but when the boys died..my mouth dropped and it stayed there..i knew they were gonna either die leave or just not be around but i wasnt expecting them to go out the way that they did.
She only wanted to help... That's the truly sad part of it all. A good intention ended killing the only family she ever had and worse made her own sister so furious that she called her a Jinx, slapped her and and abandoned her. It's a all just so heartbreaking that you don't know where to start.
Same! All 4 of them made up a family. hey had they fights and disagreements but they knew to fight for each other and stick together. With those 2 gone its just not the same :(
well, there is more to it: fiddlesticks tells one's deepest fearest against them and (if I recall, uses that against the person he's speaking to) used that against jinx. jinx only saw it as trying to help and (not going to lie, if jinx weren't there, the 4 of them: vi, maylo, claggor, and vander) would have died without her help. maylo fueled it, but vi put the final nail in the coffin: "it's your fault! You jinx!" and jinx is trying to deep down reject the idea that she did kill them. (which, she did indirectly; but I don't blame her for what she did.) jinx copes with this fact by thinking she actually helped (and I agree she did). I'm not too sure on how to explain it, but it's some sort of coping mechanism and jinx's greatest fear is that she actually killed her adoptive family; directly or indirectly.
I can't recall a time when a animated show has shocked me this much. This whole episode was so brutal and Powder being so much like an actual child made this so much harder to watch. People have already been pointing it out but her crying was escepially well animated and voice acted, it just felt so real. I think It's always been a huge pet peeve of mine when in shows (well usually animated ones) the characters don't properly react to death and other stuff that might shock them, especially when the characters are actually suppose to cry. But this show just handled the emotions so well it was rly refreshing to see. Definitely one of the best animated shows I've seen.
I think it remind us of a horrible experience that most of us have got through in life and we don't want to talk or to remember because of how painful it is
It honestly hits so hard because it is relatable. I remember breaking down like that when I was a kid. My dad kicked out his wife (my step mother) multiple times over the course of several years because of some misguided rage. They always got back together later on. I hated my step mother, but her daughter (my older step sister) was everything to me and I remember crying like Powder every single time that I thought I would never see her again. I was around the same age, too. This scene haunts me.
The voice acting legit made me tear up so good props to both of them emotional trauma in voice acting can be hard to effectively portray as good as this.
I just love how each champion in league has such a unique story instead of just a champion that was just put on the rift with some cool abilities, im speechless to how far league has come.
The look of realization as she looks at the goggles, followed by her panicked cries is just... wow. Doesn't matter how many times I watch it, I get chills and teary eyed.
Damn, the voice acting in this from Powder's VA was so damn good. She captured not only that uncontrollable crying of a child who's so upset they're hysterical, but also that of a child who only knows what she sees in front of her, and that's her sister walking away from her. The way she cries for her to come back is a child who really believes she's being left behind. She knows she made a huge mistake that got the rest of her adoptive family killed, Vi didn't just get angry with her but struck her both with her hand and with calling her the same thing Mylo always did, a jinx, after so many times telling her it's fine, we all have bad days--then Vi's response to Powder pleading with her was to walk away. She needed that space of course, for how upset she was, but a child as young as Powder wouldn't necessarily understand that, all she would get from that is, "I need you to still stay with me even though you're so mad at me, please don't hate me," and Vi doesn't do that here, not at first, not until she sees Powder is about to be in trouble. So, as far as Powder knows, Vi is leaving her for good and all she can do is beg her not to. And when she immediately doesn't come back, she loses hope...and then Silco comes across her.
At 1:30 when Vi was getting up to leave, you can see powder hiding her face because she was scared vi might hit her again.....damn... extremely heartbreaking yet amazing attention to the detail.
I'm in awe at the animation. The way the little details are shown in the animation, specifically with Powder's expression from 0:23 - 0:30, going from innocent excitement to confusion to horror is so powerful. The animation team really outdid themselves with Arcane and I hope they continue this level of quality for however long it goes. The way the voice acting compliments the animation is perfect. Good job Riot.
Another couple things I've noticed in watching this scene again: it mirrors the scene we got at the beginning with Vander adopting Vi and Powder, surrounded by fire and death. Here too, Powder isn't looking at her dead parents, or the man in front of her. She only has eyes for Vi. And this scene too, she registers the deaths and fire around her, but ultimately is clocked on Vi. In crisis, she looks to Vi. The other thing is "Mylo was right". This line gets overlooked but is the PRIMARY reason we see so much of Mylo in the later scenes where we listen to Jinx's inner voices. She doesn't hear the kind voices of Vi, she hears Mylo. The LAST THING Violet said was "Mylo was right. . For YEARS that's the last thing she heard Vi say, and so the last thing she remembers from the person she loves most is that person telling her everything she was supposed to be blocking out from Mylo, she should have actually listened to because it was right.
0:19 The microexpressions on vi's face are just unbelievable, omfg Arcane might be the best animated project i've ever seen 11/10 Season 2 can't come soon enough
I think one of the best details in the voice acting is at the end when you hear that single squealing scream. So much raw emotion channeled in the VA’s performance. Incredible.
From the expressive animation, to the stimulated writing, to the raw voice acting, I’ve never felt such pure emotions in the pit of my stomach. Not only in this scene, but throughout every episode. I urge everyone to watch the series even if you don’t play the game.
