Looking great. I have a couple pairs of Vibergs myself. The one I have had for a while is dark brown 2040s that I wear all the time, rain or shine. I just clean them and use Venetian cream and they’ve stood up just fine. Tons of scuffs from all the walking I do but no water marks.
I didn’t love it, but it was definitely decent. My main issue was the 8 eyelets. Looks odd. I prefer 7 like my 3 pairs. Also not huge on brown CXL. kinda boring. I think they sold out already.
Great looking boot! I just copped a pair of 2030s during their sample sale. They arrived a bit different. No Viberg box. No cloth bags. No cream. No nothing. Just two boots in plastic bags in a DHL cardboard box. Zero complaints tho. $300 was a deal.
hmm...in your last review, it seems like you were pretty much declaring the viberg 310 a "not worth the money boot"...yet here you are, four months later, paying full price for another pair...i'll take that to mean that the dublins won you over!...as they should...they really look good...nick's and white's prices are right up there with viberg, but they don't even offer anything that compares with the sophistication/quality/elegance of the vibergs...imho...enjoy your boots, dude! ps...i saw viberg's response when you contacted them about your issues with the dublins...did they offer to accept the return?
I post pics of them each time I wear them on the Patina Project app. Actually they are lightening up, just like my Tobacco Phoenix leather. This is what I had hoped for. The leather sort of has a “cracking pull-up” effect in areas with creases. It looks really cool. I haven’t conditioned them yet. Don’t plan to for some time.
It looks better with wear. More reddish. I’ll try to remember to wear them tomorrow and make a short. I’ve honestly been wearing my Antique Phoenix pair lately since they are newer.
great review! I tried on a pair of these the other day and that discolouration spot, the nick you called it, is in exactly the same spot. Same cow lol or perhaps it occurs in the dying process?? The leather has a very fine quality about it that doesn't come out in the video. Cheers
Ya man all is good. Reddit is a cesspool. I was banned from all of Reddit for 3 days by a triggered Mod who got upset when I responded “lol” to them banning me from their subreddit. The fact that they can ban you for the entire platform for responding “lol” to their comment is insane. I decided I was done with that platform due to all the issues (the stupid feed recommending crap I don’t want to see, the notifications sending me stuff I don’t care about). It’s turned into Facebook. I’ll miss my PNW sub and the Nicks sub, but I can’t participate in such a toxic platform anymore. You can find me on Styleforum now.
