Question; as quickly as the flowers come, do yours shed flowers just as fast ? Mine seems to just loose their blooms kind of fast

@@sonidoexperiencia The blooms last for about 2 weeks and then they turn brown.

LOTS of aphids on mine, zone 7a. It’s annoying, but totally worth the effort to clear off the little buggers and keep this showstopper.

I bought this plant a few years ago and it has been receiving only a few hours of sunlight each day directly it finally is blooming I think this year

I think this is what I have. Thought it was a hydrangea initially but didn’t match any type I could find. It’s growing well in the shade but kind of leggy looking, going to try growing one in a more sunny spot. It sends off lots of babies from the base so I can propagate easily.

I came across this video to help my tall snow ball viburnum tree. It look very healthy with lots of blooms each year but the flowers bend the branches to the ground, especially at the bottom. Can i just cut these limbs off?

My 15 year old snowball looks like the big one. But I have taken many many cuttings and grown them in pots. Some as shallow as Two inches deep. And trim them to balance in form and look bonsai. They end up looking like a small tree with Chinese white lanterns in the spring time. Morning sun only when in pots. Full sun in ground I am zone 7-8 I have aphids on cruciferous vegs. Never on Snowball

We have a snowball plant that is very tall and absolutely beautiful in the fall. The leaves turn like a maple tree. Red, Browns and yellows. I would like root another one from this plant. Is it hard?

Are they fragrant? I am trying to identify a tree we had at an old property. We had a small tree in our yard, was just getting taller than our 6 foot fence. Lots of petal debris and wonderful scent. Could this be it?

@chickenlover657
@chickenlover657 8 лет назад
+shutdafup You can actually make jam from the red berries - on the varieties that produce them - but it is advisable to consume in small quantities. But to answer your question: no, children will not get poisoned or die from eating them, unless they were to eat an exceptionally large quantity, which is not likely, as the berries are quite tart. For animals I wouldn't know, but never ran into any info that warns against this plant. Birds are happy to eat them, that's certain. Hope this helped, cheers.

I just cut mine back when it gets too bushy. I haven't got a very big garden so have to keep it well cut back. The only problem with this is that some years I don't get a lot of 'snowballs' on it but it is usually much better and covered in blooms the following year.

snowball viburnum I have to cut mine back every year as it grows about 3ft after it blooms they say the flowers bloom on old wood I do not get a ton of flowers because I have to cut it back I would suggest finding a spot for it to grow fully with some pruning for shape but let it do its thing and you will get lots of flowers I wish I had planted mine in a different spot now
