The professional is the definition of the people's RU-vidr. He literally takes a copyright hit so his content is better. He deserves more credit than he actually gets
_He deserves more credit than he actually gets_ That's why I won't buy GTA VI until eventually an official patch add this option to the subtitles of the game: [ ✔ ] Show -Director's- The Professional comments
Probably one of the most iconic missions of the 3D era of GTA! Such a shame it takes place in the most under-appreciated GTA game but I guess that makes it even more special!
This game made me a full time Phil Collins fan. I remember going to his concert in free roam and my dad walked in and was like is that phil Collins? And I was like yes and he sat next to me and listened and sang along. I was in 4th grade at the time which feels like a light year ago b/c I’m 24 years old and have been done w/ college for 2 years and still play this and LCS on my PSP from time to time.
@@ifeelcoke4347 well yeah but too bad I don't have one. Plus in terms of money we're like on the poor side. Although I could sacrifice my savings but tbh it's just too little that hypothetically I can't buy the game If i do have the Vita lelz. Unlike the psp tho. as of now I'm still finding a repair man who could genuinely/actually repair a Psp but for now that's a story for another time lelz.
This is probably the first and last time that gta mission had concert themed mission. I remember it was the first thing shown in the third trailer of the game what a iconic. mission.
Vics lines as he is killing people made me love him even more. I love this is a shortcut to hell, this ain’t no movie and this ain’t no kids toy, you are now about to die, hey munchberry meat, your life is about to expire and many others. Vics voice actor really nailed those lines well
Professional, we need to give you money for taking the copyright hit so often… You’re just as legendary as these classic games in my book. Cheers to you man. No other RU-vidr with integrity like yours 🤙🏻
I was diagnosed with leukaemia when I was 8 years old. I didn't go to school for a year because I need to go through some chemotherapies. My dad bought me a PSP so that I couldn't get bored laying on the hospital bed. GTA:VCS was the first game I played on my PSP. I'm glad that I've played this game.
The mission In The Air Tonight is nothing short of iconic in the entire GTA franchise. No other game can come that close to depicting an actual singer doing a freakin' concert in the game. The game's version of In The Air Tonight is of better quality too. Indeed, GTA Vice City Storis is a grossly underrated game of the franchise. Thanks for bringing back the amazing nostalgia from this game, Pro. Cheers.
@@nickthelonewolf9909 I agree, and I can't believe I purchased the copy I had from Columbia House back in 2009 (30 $ for expedited shipping; I felt the PS2 version was/is worth 30 large).
They usually do when it comes to game cutscene music videos , but it'll stand the test of time hopefully as we come back in about five years after it's on the recommended list 😂😂
I miss Remi, she were honestly really lovable and one of the funniest characters next to Phil. I hope she gets a cameo or reference like they did with Lovefist in GTA V
The Phil Collins Concert feels like Rockstar just did a thank you gift for the Player as saying thank you for playing our games It's like a Rockstar Concert🤘😎🤘.
Vice city starts with sunny forelli talking about how they were planing to expanding down south, so I guess it was because of that incident with Phil Colin’s that the forelli started to take interest in vice city.
@@robtz759 yeah they got destroyed by every gta protagonist of the 3D era. In a way their fall started in vice city stories when they took notice on vice city.
@@elmaster48 Yeah. Imagine having your gang that was the most powerful mob in a city for decades only for them to be constantly killed, humiliated, and also ended up so weak that they started borrowing money from their rival Leone family, ultimately going extinct in just 15 years beginning from 1986
Technically she was a man twice. She mentioned in the mission she already had 3 sec changes. After you drive her to her fourth she’s a woman. So born woman > 1st sex change to man > 2nd sex change back to woman > 3rd sex change back to man and how we meet her >4th and shown sex change back to woman again.
This is an epic mission indeed Professional. The best top mission of Vice City Stories. The simple protect Phil Collins from Forelli mob thugs who want to cut the lights off from the top of his concert performance. Glad you didn’t turn off the In the Air Tonight performance there. The music mafia shouldn’t dictate what music you love to listen to. I get royalty pay and permission should be given. But they shouldn’t allow creators to be demonetized just because they use their music. It’s an expression of appreciation of using their music for creativity. It gives them more recognition if anything.
About the mission "So Long Schlong", if you completely take over all of the businesses in the map, the mission would be very easy and fun because you are gonna have bulletproof cars in each business. Like go to the nearest business, ditch the Sentinel XS and take the bulletproof car from your business.
I felt Pro when he ran into the Police Car when driving to the concert, you just take a fast car out for a spin and then traffic ruins your day. It's worse when you get a wanted level, but it can be worse.
I like the text that flashes when you fail the mission on Phil Collins concert it says "Phil did feel it coming in the air tonight" as the roof/lights crash on him.
The pics up on stage resembles Collins' "No Jacket Required" album, which was recorded in 1984, same time frame as Vice City Stories, which would make it Collins' upcoming album. The song "In the Air Tonight" is from Collins' 1981 album, "Face Value"
Yes. Return to the drugs trade. This time. Have some drug trafficking and drug selling and buying like GTA Chinatown wars did. They did that drug economy system first. Scarface game did it first but Chinatown ears expanded choices of drugs to buy.
He won’t turn of a song of it fits with gameplay like he did in ballad of gay Tony walk through he was like I don’t care if I get demonetized he said that in his club management mission stuff
@@Fruitsmymainispomgranates Copyright holders sadly can also make you mute it, monetized or not. You are completely in their hands, we can only hope they let it stay up.
In the air Tonight mission really makes you think rockstar games' achievements and you just wanna thank them for the experience they bring to our lives
@@carlosdragonballz It is a rumour that licensing is too much hassle/expensive for a re-release, but this is never officialy confirmed. Others say LCS Mobile was not that profitable so they didn't find it worth continuing porting. Either way, rather have Collins in the game than being able to play it on a touch screen without lol, I'll pass.
yeah... in the Air tonight was Dope. made me look into a few of his songs. And yeah as we get closer to the game we're getting close to the tragic foreshadowing as well.
Vic: this aint no movie, this aint no kids toy ! Also Vic: *at a film studio whacking Mendez crew* I wish to travel back to 1980s to catch Phil Collins concert here, shame he never return to Miami after 1985, he knows how horrible the place was, even today
I find Barry to be quite funny, and Phil Collins with the "Miss Management" comment is also a winner in my Vice book. For sure though, the Phil Collins concert here still gives me the good kind of chills. He he, if it was up to the Forelli's, Phil Collins would've became a bloody celebrity.
@SAUCE GOD It wouldn't have been worth it for Phil Collins to get erased, although for sure his record sales would really increase (he does do well for himself regardless, certainly!).
I am a big fan of Phil Collins. Protecting him is the best mission ever! He gets to perform in the game, amazing! I love listening to his music! :D 10 out of 10! I wonder if there will be a lore video of the Forellis.
Best mission ever tbh, for all its value eg Phil Collins (as himself), an amazing really popular song, very realistic theme and visuals as that the way Phil would perform that song in particular. If only rockstar would do this with the newer games
A helpful suggestion. At the beginning of the mission you can take the ambulance helicopter behind the hospital to drop off Reni and then fly over to the stadium to cut down on travel time.
I love musical details R* puts in their games sometimes. Even if it's some street musicians, Javier or Charles in RDR2, but a whole song in a whole concert like that is impressive - and we're not even in the HD universe here! I'm not that much of a Phil Collins fan, but I loved this mission!
Im playing thru VCS along with you pro on psp! I just completed the mission introducing Lance and I took over all the business i could on the mainland and when i unlocked the second ill take them all over
It's missions like this where we wish Rockstar did more of them. I mean in San Andreas CJ literally becomes a manager for Madd Dogg, who is a professional rapper in that game. They could've so done a concert setup
Imagine at the end of san Andreas, madd Dogg comes to cj and says "hey I've got some rhymes that you might be interested in" and then cj raps to the gta sa theme song, that would be an awesome ending
Also for the final mission, there is a heavy machine gun in the movie studio that spawns. It spawns in one of those open movie sheds on top of the scaffolding. That gun can take out almost anything in a few shots.
Now my respect is nearly 90% after u claim this mission as the#1 in VCS. YES brother. That was epic that was out of this world mission. When I first played this mission I felt goosebumps all over my body.. Same feeling as watching it al over again after 16 years. Respect.
This is what I would say now, Are you happy now darling? You wanted my death? Bad idea because you are death know. You are a tough guys? Then why girl is killing you, Ok I need to think about more lines.
I like to imagine that during the cutscene of Phil slowly moving his way to the drums as he sings, I feel as if the goons trying to sabotage the show stopped what they were doing and began to watch the show with Vic. You cant go wrong with Phil Collins!
