We've all gotten so picky and bougie when it comes to knives but in all honesty this is all 95% of us would need for a lifetime. I'm not ready to give up my pocket knives but I sure feel better prepared with a SAK on or near me. Thanks John

I had one for the last 15 years and it was robbed out of my car a few weeks ago. It had travelled the world with me. But... I just bought a new one, so time to start making new memories with this one.

I hope you'll never lose it. Do you know Victorinox maintaines it for free? You can even have broken parts returned to you if the knife is of sentimental value (which yours is I guess).

Just got one of these brand new current production.Started a dead leaf on fire with the magnifying glass and found out the fish scaler makes a decent back scratcher.

Once again a well made and informative video. The champ is by far my favorite SOK. With a bit of research and practice, i actually transplanted the digital watch scales from my Voyager to my champ and it fits fantastic. Also, i think its fantastic that you feather your tools while closeing rather than snapping them shut. Your champ will last a lifetime.

Thats a nice upgrade my friend. The swiss champ is probably my favorite model out of all of them. if it had a Lite module on i id be pretty happy.

I really enjoyed the video. I appreciate your detail-orientated approach. I’m saving up for a Swiss Champ. I can’t wait to get my hands on one! Current SAK is the Huntsman. I carry it everyday… I can’t imagine not having it on me. Thanks for all the work you put into your video. I subbed!

The Swisschamp and Cybertools are very handy and a joy to use. I however prefer the Swisstool since it got the clip, more pocketable, locking tools, everything more beefy just the best multitool on the planet imho:)
@TheFossilChannel
@TheFossilChannel Год назад
agree with you. i love my swisstool quite alot. swiss champ is great for smaller carry! i believe some laws dont allow for locking blades in certain countries.

I can't believe how much the price of this knife varies between different sellers. From my point of view as a Swede, the price ranges from about 800 to 1700 swedish crowns. Crazy.

The Swiss Champ has been my favorite for over 30 years now. Big but still practical. A light would just make it chunkier and heavier or it's inclusion would require omitting a couple of the existing features if it were to remain the same size. I keep a Mag Lite on my key-ring. Any Swiss Army Knife that lacks a corkscrew is...well... "underequipped". Very useful in its intended role of removing corks but also because it can hold one of those tiny screwdrivers which are perfect for tightening up those miserable little screws in the hinges of eyeglasses!

Thanks for the video. I love my Swiss Champ -- wouldn't leave the house without it. It's great for everyday carry and priceless in a survival situation. I've added a Fire Ant and a magnet (in the screwdriver hole). I also keep a small metal (1 3/4 inch piece of) coat hanger under the fish de-scaler with which to poke things through small holes. I sharpened one end to a point and when clasped firmly between/beneath the Hook and Corkscrew (it locks in very well) it makes the knife into an excellent drawing compass or for checking radii. Great hack! Just sane... :^) Saint

If a guy goes to Home Depot over to the hand tools, on the bottom shelf there’s some cheap needle nose made by Stanley. The interesting thing about them is they are Multitool style, needle nose, regular, wire cutter combo. A pair of those with a Swiss champ and a guy is pretty set up

I like this knife it's awesome 👍👍👍👍👍. Some people or channels on RU-vid say it's to big it's 2 heavy you have to carry it in a pouch. I never carry it in a pouch. Just in the pocket. It also might have fit in the 5th jeans pick but can't remember. You are ready for anything with this knife.

I had a fake one of these. I used the majority of the tools, but there were some obvious flaws. The scissors were dull as fuck, the fish descaler wasn’t even sharpened, as was the case with the awl, the hook was missing, the pliers were thinner, the file wouldn’t stay in half the time, and it didn’t have the pen. That being said, when I finally got rid of it and I got a super tinker, I realize just how much I missed the other tools. Eventually I’m going to get a genuine Swiss champ to fill the “thick multitool” shaped hole in my heart.

I have a Swiss Champ but it doesn't see a lot of pocket time due to the size. I did pick up an old Champion (C) which, with the later scales, has most of the functions of the Champ, but in a more portable package, at least for me.
