Can you pick the lock to a CVS and grab some nail clippers maybe?

Yes, Lishi tools can pick locks easily. No, they don't consistently provide accurate codes to cut keys for locks. That's why most videos don't show actual working keys being made from Lishi codes. One locksmith posted a video where he had to add 1 to each number he read from his Lishi tool to cut a working key for a 4 pin Master Lock. The only way I'll be able to use mine, for anything other than a pick, is to impression and file a key from one of the locks I picked with my Lishi and see how the pin settings differ from the Lishi numbers. I wouldn't have to do that if a Lishi was a 'quality" tool.

Do they make those tools for car doors? I ask because most car doors have cuts on both sides of the key, not just one side.

I've discovered a similar tool to Lishi branded as "AKK". Have only found vids about it by the manufacturer but I wish someone would do a side-by-side comparison/review to see if there's any real difference between the two. You can self-assess your tensionong skills by noting how often you have to 'reset' and start again. Happens even to the best, just less often.
