david rodriguez this is true me and my brother had endured abused several ways and effects us differently ! Huge difference , affected but he moved on and happy I am not
Literally his entire family is selling him out, filing crazy lawsuits against a football team, going on TV talking about him. No wonder he was reluctant to help anyone with his money, they were all about the money not about him
I just got done reading the book his brother d.j wrote. I honestly thought when i ordered it that it would b just his brothers way of cashing n on all this but once i started reading i couldnt put it down. Its obvious that he loved aaron and just wanted people 2 know hey im not making excuses 4 my brother but this is my side of it and maybe it will make u understand him better. He explains there was definitely another side 2 aaron and he didn't know that person. I think his fiance really did love Aaron but Aaron was gay and when she found out she had absolutely no idea. He told people he was close 2 that he did love her but he didnt love her n tht way. He was really just using her 2 keep up appearances. Maybe that was a reason it might have been easy 4 her 2 move on so quickly but idk. Yall should get his book and read it cause i felt the same way but now i feel different about the situation. Hope yall have a great day!!
@@brandonhathaway6259 the side of his brother he didn't know was a bad person. Aaron was a psychopathic killer with some deep issues. But the person d.j knew was a good and sweet kid but n the book u can read where d.j see's him going bad. He had the worse case of cte n a person his age ever seen and d.j seen early hints of that n Aaron at a young age. I dont wont 2 give the book away but it definitely helped me understand why an athlete with the whole world n his hands does something like he did. Alot of people had cte but they didnt murder people so its no excuse but the other stories from when he was a kid helps u see the big picture. U read the book Brandon?
People don’t understand, behind every persons actions will considered to be based on childhood past . Good or bad . People will never understand or admit it and never seek professional help. People we all need help at one point !!!!!! And you should never feel embarrassed.
The man suffered from CTE caused by repeated blows to head playing football all those years. His condition wasn't discovered until after his death. (Autopsy). Many athletes suffering from this condition often are violence prone, and in the end committ suicide.
I don't believe in child molestation, or incest, or going with mom an daughter, or son an father, or even cousin's. Keeping sex perverted is gross, an it's the same group categories . Sex is private, with two mutual interest partners, it's never for kids. Or with the whole family. That's sad how people get injured in life an repeat negative learnt behavior, or do even worse behavior than that.
@@dirxclvck forreal. There are mothers, fathers , brothers, sisters , best friends, till this day are mourning the death of a close one who was murdered not deserving it. I know we shouldn't speak I'll of the dead, but common this guy was insane, he was shooting left and right.
I didn't say he was an angel he just had a lot of confusion for being molested as a kid then being gay hiding his secrets lead to anger issues also it should have been addressed long time ago and top it off that his dad passed away ... :( walking ticking bomb
See this is what I’m talking about. Society hands out excuses for criminal behavior. This is why so many people are so screwed up. This will never end.
Aaron suffered from CTE from NFL and before this his father beat him when he was younger. Explains why he snapped not saying it's right or wrong just trying too make it known that with a condition too do with head trauma/abuse over the years could of caused him too do what he did do. Either way R.I.P Aaron Hernandez was a human like the rest of us.
Ethan Wilkins odins best friend said “he was only human and we all make mistakes” he forgave him the mother is on track to forgive him and so is the used to be girlfriend of Odin if the people who hated him the most are forgiving him why can’t you?
Mindset vs Truth behavior for each individual. Even down to kissing the babysitter to. You can't trust to walk out the damn room? No one can control anyone or their actions but themselves. We all reap are truth behavior
I'm sorry but when the dust settles down he still was convicted of murder, was he a great player. He knew right from wrong. He had the best chance at being a hall of famer. Instead he was a thug, off the field he led a thug life he killed a man and was sentenced after his conviction. He took the cowards way out by killing himself. No tears shed for him just his victims.
The brother is doing a good thing “.Showing emotion isn’t a bad thing. Speaking up isn’t a bad thing” That’s a good message I don’t care how bad his brother was. He still is a victim of sorts, and I bet u it’s why he killed.
I mean having your dad be an alcoholic that beats you and apparently Being sexually molested is a little more than a “sob story” most people don’t go through that

Some people do, and that's why a lot of people go to prison.
Brother is selling him out for the money. If my brother, even if famous, I would not go on TV and talk about him to sell books. Especially if my brother is not alive to defend himself.
@baby Maharaja yes, he is going out on talk shows talking about struggles they endured in their childhood, which eases the tension on the public's eye. The thing is he did it for profit, we are not sure if he was gay, and from what the book contains, DJ was 50/50 on the matter if he was. You just can't go with the flow and be sure based off rumors. Why spill the beans if he was? Just because the mass media, who practically fabricates and exaggerates stories just to earn viewership, you are going to get paid for going on TV, and try to sell a book from your brother's death. The dude is not alive anymore to defend himself and after the whole Jeffrey Epstein scandal, we still can't be sure it was a suicide, especially if he was going to appeal the first case. So yeah, DJ did it for a buck, and 15 minutes of glory which is the definition of selling out.
@baby Maharaja whose to say he was or wasn't. Only Aaron can admit that. The sole purpose of my original comment was to point out that his own brother is selling him out. Rather than let it go and move on, the family is building wealth off his success and failures. I have many siblings but I will not go in public and exploit their failures for wealth. What irrelevance will you bring up now?
He went through a lot as child but u don’t kill one of your best friends he was a criminal it was in his blood he killed more then once no mercy for him just a waste of talent
I feel bad for everyone, the victims, his family and Aaron. He had to pay for his crimes for sure, but it still feels like a sad way to end when he had so much to live for, a career and family. Maybe he got to much to soon, or maybe he did have injuries that caused him to commit these crimes. God only knows.
In all reality Aaron Hernandez was a great in his football career and remember he had to work hard for that life it's a shame the way his life end up RIP Hernandez #1 always
I agree, it's as if there was more to it then what had surfaced from the very start. No man or female is going to have anything going positive. An then tare it down, it would make it so unrealistic. An people are capable of anything, even if there is no uncovered past history.
That proved he was sexually assaulted, anyone not being able to distinguish what inappropriate is, or not to repeat it has unclear thinking. Anything goes is a game changer period for everything.
Regardless of what his childhood pass is, that doesn't give him the right to kill anyone. Hell! My childhood wasn't all that great, but I'm not out killing people.
Never judge, yes it was horrible but he had a fucked up life and you can never be certain that it cant happen to you, life in general is a mistery let alone brain issues...still its a shame, after all he ended his life.....a jerk wouldnt do that. Rspct for the lost souls in this story
Off the subject here, but am I the only one that looks at Dr. Oz and thinks of Harry's father, Green Goblin, on Spider-Man? Can't think of his name....
I was physically abused by my father and he abused my mother in front of me and my sister and went to jail for 10 years for beating her so bad.. neither of us are killers... You’re born a killer not raised one... Don’t make excuses for your own mistakes.. Stay Strong 💪
Not ignoring what Aaron did sure it’s sad that his family upbringing was trash and that he had servers brain damage but I can still not justify what he did and he’s dead.
You can't compare your situation with others, it will never be exactly the same. You didn't play football from elementary to professional, or had cte. Thank god you overcame such a horrible childhood, but at the end only the man upstairs van judge hernandez
Ppl are born psychopaths & sociopaths, not killers ,and im talking about ppl who kill you for the littlest disrespect , they respect you first so you don’t have a reason to disrespect them cause they know how they gonna react , they have regard for other human beings & others emotions but the littlest thing can make them snap and make them feel like they have to defend themselves in the most violent way possible to keep whatever happened from happening again… the environment you are RAISED in & things you see in your everyday life will make you a killer. If you see somebody handle a certain situation with murder or violence then subconsciously that’s gonna be your first response right ? From Losing love ones to being betrayed & hurt constantly & persistently will have you willing to do anything to protect yourself & the ones you love by any means necessary… Being put in plenty of kill or be killed situations growing up will make you a killer, so when a situation do come up , instinctively you already know how to answer the problem cause tbh like 97 percent of ppl in the world will only respect & understand violence … ppl can love ya & still cross ya but if they fear you they’ll never think abt crossing you ya feel me ? You can’t be born a killer , it’s a mentality , a instinct well shid imo
If he was abused growing, that sucks for him, it's not his fault for the abuse, but it is his fault for how he responded to the abuse, and he responded by murdering people and many more things that wasn't the best.
all that shit is an excuse...fact is he came from bad neighborhood...….made it...….milionare…...had the world by the ass....he couldn't leave the violence and crap behind...he made his own bed
My thing is if this man was so bad tempered anything could tick him off why he wasn’t beating his fiancée. In my “Kat Williams voice don’t worry I’ll wait”
I was curious of that too, maybe he did beat her, or emotionally manipulated her. Did you hear the convos in the Netflix documentary, when Aaron was in jail? When he was talking to his mom one time, first episode. He said " I just wanna punch you" The mother remained silent. Then I heard another convo, with his Fiancee and he said " Can I ask you a favor?" Fiancee said in an enraged voice " omg will this ever end?" In my opinion the fact that Aaron Hernández is a killer, its because the way he was brought up, it's Danny and Terri Hernández's fault. That anyone can break the cycle of violence sure! But did Aaron want to break it?
The worse of murderers have limitations. Maybe he loved his daughter so much that the primary caretaker of his daughter (his fiancée) was exempted from abuse. Plus his fiancé said she “knew her role” which means she never got in his way and she wasn’t a threat to him.
I have been waiting for some kind of explanation as to why he lived his life in a way where he was heading for self-destruction . What a tragic story !
Nah man his past has nothing to do with what he did...he had a successful career with having that past life, he just made very bad decisions and thought he was untouchable...he didn't care...well it caught up to him...sad indeed, but don't blame his past.
@@sandi21515 Pretty simple alot of successful people have been abused in their past and they're not out there killing people...I personally believe Aaron Hernandez was drugged up when he committed his crimes and that he wasn't in his 5 senses, but that doesn't excuse him for taking a life...also they're pictures of him holding a pistol...so again his past has no blame for his present.
Millions of people go though this and don't get opportunities to play a kids game for millions and end up murdering someone... Why can't we just except there are bad people out there
I agree but we all look at truth or nothing gets better. Pretending keeps the problem going an to get worse. With gross results that are pure an pathetic ....
blade woods SO WHAT??? Would you trade what he’s been through for some profits from a book? YOU are the one with the screwed up values if money is what you chose to focus on!
I think the same way. In the documentary the mother wanted Aaron to give them 1 million but Aaron didn't want to. His mother didn't give him the motherly love.
I have CTE. A final blow to the side of my head was when 3 security guards from Toronto’s Michael Garron hospital smashed my head against the wall on June 16 2022. All of the symptoms are severe. This is the 5th severe head injury I've had. 3 in the last 2 years, courtesy Michael Garron hospital.
Rip brother I can feel this, shit rt there always more to a man's story I kno I went thru hell in my life just like him the shit just put under the carpet and it's so fucked up these molesters getting away with murder it needs to stop
_Guess you didn't even read the book? Honestly it was both rivoting and revealing at the same time, and yes I felt there was alot of stuff left out. Out of respect for their Father, he didn't want to vilify him as a monster. The darkest secret was of Aaron's sexual orientation, and probably the homobic values instilled upon him by his own parent. It's a shame folks like you come here to trash Jonathon Hernandez, yet never even know what you're talking about._
@@jdilla1982 _If you haven't read it, then take a seat. Because if you had, you'd have some respect for him, his family, and his personal loss. Personally, there's a level of honesty in Jonathon's book that needed to be told._
@Jesse Ortiz that's not gangsta lmao it's just a wasted time of life did ten years for manslaughter I didn't get nothing but a cell and no pussy now I have my beautiful kids to live for and be there for that's gangster 💯💯💯💯👌✌
We all got one foot in the grave genius, we all will die one day, we just don't know when our time will come, some go young, younger, some never live beyond the womb and others die old and older. No one is promised tomorrow, not even you Albert Einstein
A lot of kids are abused and don’t murder innocent people. A lot of football players have CTE and don’t kill people. It is Aaron’s fault.. he was an evil person. 💯
Joel Johnson lmfao because they didn’t pose a threat to his life. He’s no different than Ted Bundy. They were both aware of what they were doing but only because that’s the way they were changed to think
TY-BELL17 I know a lot about Psychology cos I worked in that field , and the commenter is right, psychological or psychiatric patients don't kill 99 percent not even with brain damage. Those who do are psychopaths and they do it cos they are calculating or very impulsive people and they refuse treatment but carry on making awful decisions especially for somebody's account. So , I know a lot about psychology but fortunately we have laws that above psychology especially above the one that tries to defend criminals that don't have any positive feeling for other humans.
My father was a loser drunk but I just take that for the positive and show the world that I’m better than him. Better genetics better DNA better blood better hairline lol
Where were you when you needed to his lowest point in prison. You guys walked away when he had nothing but yet he thought he could help everybody by giving his life for everyone to be taken care of unfortunately it didn't happen he died for nothing. Now you write a book and you're going to make money on a dead man I just don't know what to think
I never knew him or of him until the trials,I have sons who played sports and I was drawn to him.it was very sad what they say he did and was convicted of.i also feel if only someone could have seen what was happening to him. The damage from football was extreme and I feel sorry for him and his family...be nice haters
Make sense of it privately. Why put it out there for the world that so sadly at the end of the day doesn’t care and will ultimately judge. So sad for EVERYONE effected by this horrible tragedy.
so he's saying the kids should have talked about the abuse while kids and then perhaps the government would have taken the kids away from the father? yes, maybe that would have been better for aaron, idk
