Aaron Herandez's brother "DJ" faces judge after violating wife's protective order

Dennis "DJ" Hernandez, the brother of the late Aaron Hernandez, appeared in court Tuesday to face state charges on a protective order regarding his soon-to-be ex-wife in Fla.
Hernandez, 37, allegedly threatened to kill his estranged wife while under psychiatric evaluation.
“Ms. Hernandez expressed that Mr. Hernandez’s mental health diagnosis were that of bipolar and schizophrenia and that in the past he had threatened the victim,” Bristol Police Officer Zachary Levine said.

@@nextstar55 Possibly, but "evil behavior" isn't always because of the person's parents. There are some choices adults make where you can't rightfully blame his or her parents. Upbringing isn't always the root cause of bad behavior in adulthood. E.g. illicit drugs, alcohol, getting involved with the wrong people, etc. can sometimes be contributing factors; also.

If you want to hear it or not. Aaron's and Dennis dad left them a huge trauma behind which never left them. He was so sick and abusive and did terrible things to them. And also what happened with Aaron destroyed Dennis... He needs help.

Through the whole story of Aaron I always felt the child abuse was overlooked.. Too much focusing on CTE. Child abuse is the worst form of abuse and has catastrophic effects. Obviously everyone takes responsibility for their actions. But these boys both has such a bright future and it's sad that child abuse caused so much loss for so many people. I wish that part of the story would be talked about more.

Thank you! To top it off, Aaron was sexually molested and possibly even raped. I am not saying he shouldn’t face consequences, but come on why didn’t ANYONE intervene sooner? And get these boys help? Although their mom was going around was sleeping with her husbands niece rather than emotionally supporting her sons yet she wanted a million dollars from Aaron.

Very sad for his guy. He seemed to be the only one in the entire family who seemed to have found a way to deal with his demons. He had so much going for him. Hopefully he will get the help he deserves and be able to move forward and have a productive life.

Hearing his mom talk to Aaron on phone recordings, one can assume she was not protecting boys from abuse of their father. Her son aaron said he didnt trust her and she didnt even question it, shows her personality is awful. God help the brother and his family! 🙏🙏🙏

Il perd son père jeune après il découvre que son frère est un meurtrier ensuite ce dernier se suicide, forcément lui, il allait déraillé mentalement s'il est pas soutenu (on dirait en tout cas) ça fait mal... J'espère qu'il arrivera à se remettre sur pied je lui souhaite le meilleur en tout cas ❤
