A place punishes those who are reporting, instead of the actual abuser. Get your children out of there and ask for a refund. Looks like a private school, so these parents are paying these people to abuse their children. Sickening
Their first mistake was reporting it to their supervisor! Per law in almost EVERY state, you MUST report it to law enforcement or CPS. Now, I commend them for recording it but they should have known better and hopefully, THEY aren't charged for failure to follow reporting laws.
However, the school should be sued for knowing the issue and not doing anything or informing the parent. WHOEVER was made aware of this should be in trouble for failing to report.
Sort of. The law clearly indicates you must report it to CPS or law enforcement. They instead told their supervisors. Now, as for this so-called illegal video recording. I HIGHLY doubt a judge would find this to be illegal. It wasn't a private room as there were multiple people in there. I would love to know HOW they deem it to be illegal.
It seems they only reported it to their supervisor. If so, that's NOT what they're legally required to do. The ONLY way they can get out of it is by saying once they reported it, their supervisor said THEY'D report it and they never found out the supervisor failed to. HOWEVER, I do commend them for filming it! I do question how the h3ll the video is deemed as "illegal" though.
They could but I'm questioning why they didn't report it to the agencies they are LEGALLY REQUIRED to report it to, rather than their supervisor. Now, IF they indicate their supervisor informed them that they would file the report for them, then they have a way out.
Why is a three year old swaddled so tightly??!! I’m sorry I know a whole lot of people don’t have much choice but daycare because they need to provide, but you CANNOT TRUST ANYONE with the most precious gift in your life. How much of this goes on that doesn’t get reported?? How many coworkers protect each other?? If you do not have a large measure of patience stay away from babies/toddlers/children!! If this was my child she’d be very lucky to make it to court walking!! This is so vile. The most defenseless unable to do anything about these beasts!! GOOD on this worker taking matters into her hands to PROTECT these babies!! TRUE 🦸🏼♀️
If she didn’t have patience for kids then she shouldn’t have been working there. Kids are kids. She’s evil for even yelling at the baby in the face like that. I would be livid! Poor baby .
She yelled at her? I don’t think she yelled at her. She spoke firmly for the child not to scream in her face. I thought she was trying to comfort the child by rocking her.

Imagine being wrapped in a blanket so tight you can’t move your arms & someone is speaking loudly & firmly 2 inches from your face. Are you feeling comforted just because that same person is rocking you? This woman has control issues. And I’m willing to bet it’s the reason she got into childcare in the first place. She can be the boss, she can control all the little bodies that are so much smaller than her, and they can’t articulate what is happening to them in order to report it. Separately - Daycares should all have security cameras anyway, IMO.
@@MDNELLEY At three years old, the child should not be throwing a tantrum and behaving like a toddler. I think you’re being too harsh by making that judgement of this woman based on a 1 minute clip. I did not hear her raise her voice in any significant way. Mothers should raise their own children instead of turning the responsibility over to day care. They are the best equipped to nurture and love their children. The government should give tax incentives to promote the nuclear family. It is always a risk to put the rearing care of your children into the hands of someone else.
This school was my first job and I worked there for about 2 years. I knew this day would come- it all sounds about right. The head of the school (Sharon Knafo) hires anyone and everyone that he can underpay. Super high turnover. I worked in the front office for most of my time there, and he brushed A LOT of things under the rug… a total nightmare. So glad I got out of there!
The crazy part is this teacher had been working here for 7 years?!?! Meaning, 7 years with kids at this school?! Now I wonder how many kids were abused by her in those 7 years… absolutely crazy!
This seriously needs to stop happening. If you can't handle working with kids... then don't work with kids. It's literally that simple. I'm not sure what's more upsetting.. the fact that this went on or the fact that the staff who were kind enough to come forward got in trouble for it. Disgusting. That place needs to be shut down.

This happens everywhere & the directors do not listen or take the abusers side. My 2 year old granddaughter was picked up by 1 leg & 1 arm & slammed onto her cart. The witness was a brand new hire in training she told us & she was in tears . The worker told me it was no big deal doing that. If it is not abuse, it's neglect & not watching them. Day cares are huge problems these days.
I thanked my parents for watching my kids while I was working! Never did I have a sitter or took them to childcare! I remembered telling my dad about putting them into childcare and he said absolutely NOT!!! Specially my oldest with Autism was not easy! But I’m grateful I have a very good support system and I know many don’t. If you can’t handle kids you shouldn’t be doing this type of work! I hope the baby recovers from this traumatic experience
What a horrible daycare center. First, they do not have cameras in their facility which should be required by law. Second, they punished the two employees who came forward to complain about the abuse by this worker. Third, they put out a statement about how the safety of the children is their main priority which is a lie because they have no cameras to watch the employees and then they punished the good employees.
This is why family is impotent to help each other but people don’t care for the value of family instead you pay other people to abuse your love ones 👏👏
The assistants were in the right. There should have been surveillance cameras in the room. If there's no cameras in the room then the head of the school needs to explain why he doesn't have them.
Similar thing happend in uk the child was 9months old but sadly died due to the nursery assistant leaving the child swadled and suffercated .The nursery assistant was heard on camara in the nursery saying that the child was a nuisance and other unkind words befor this happend .Thankfuly the nursery assistant has been put in prison for 14yrs i think ..Not long enough ..You have to be a special caring nurturing person with patience to care for babys and toddler..If its too much to ask dont aply for the job ..
Too many of these unfortunate and unjustified incidents happening to our innocent children. Having two or more adults in the room is vital. I pray that she'll get charged and lose her job.
Why is she there when she clearly can't be trusted? Beyond sickening. Can cause permanent damage & can cause death. No excuses. If I had child & this happened she'd be in hospital after I was done with her.

I don’t think there is anymore to the first video. She didn’t say she body slammed her. She said “ya right, I just body slammed a three year old”. She was being sarcastic. The little girl was throwing a tantrum and being dramatic. I honestly didn’t see any abuse on the first video. Just a childcare worker dealing with a fussy child who didn’t want to nap. It looked to me like she was trying to comfort her by rocking her then patting her back.

Wow, the administration was totally wrong and should not have fired those assistants. The assistants were the ones who cared about safety, not the school. In a daycare there should be cameras everywhere.
Why don’t you force her to live with the parents for a while? No witnesses around and no capability of defending herself from them. I bet she wouldn’t do that anymore. I bet she would barely be able to do anything by herself afterwards.

If the childrens safety was of importance to these people, the workers complaining about the teacher would have been taken seriously. Wow!! To dismiss a report of child abuse should be downright criminal.
Put on leave for reporting abuse? And then they want more proof?? I think that place needs to be shut down, it sounds like they're more interested in protecting the abuser than the children.
Thank the good Lord the two assistants recorded and reported! Thank goodness the teacher is no longer there shame on her! No telling how many others have been abused during these seven years
Id be terrified to send my child to school. The bullying and harassment was enough for me, but these people are not to be trusted. And it’s really sad for those good educators out there and robs the children of so much.
Also, perhaps everyone claiming filming crimes against children is "illegal" needs to be meeting that dude from LA county running a r8pedungeon? Theyll feel right at home as that guys victim, No filming allowed there, I am sure everything would work out fine for them thinking that way there..

Why does this always happen in daycares. I remember being in daycare after elementary school. They would force us to nap even if we couldn’t. They didn’t even feed us if we were hungry.

Obviously not their highest priority. Their highest priority it seems, is hiding this from parents and protecting their abusive teachers... people, get your kids out of there.This abuse will affect them for their entire lives.

I worked at a daycare where the same exact situation happened & when i worked st daycare i didnt have a cell phone too pull out. I just had my word. Its upsetting .

Daycare facilities are all about Taking Money, and not Providing Care. It also shouts volumes when the concerned assistants are immediately suspended and not the Psychotic Child Abuser!! The Abuser should be charged along with that Head Manager...No excuses, absolutely Abhorrent behaviour and extremely worrying, as how many other children have been Abused there??!!!
This is typical. I'm a former preschool teacher. Never trust you precious children with someone you don't know. Put camers with audio even on people you do know.
