Eroda is Adore backwards, we were all trying to figure out if it was a real place before this video came out💀🤡

this is simply one of his best music videos, his team wanted “eroda” to be a planet but he said “hold up” lmao and chose the island idea best. at the beginning, when he puts rocks into his pockets means he wants to end it all- after feeling excluded and starting to hate himself. in the past, putting rocks in your pocket to do that, was commonly a way that people used so the body didn’t rised from the water for a while. while thinking about that, he found someone/someone that gave him the motivation to heal and keep going. he starts trying new things, and finds a reason to not leave. at the end, he has to let it go, meaning that sometimes we find things and people in our life, that are meant to show us the way, and sadly, we have to let them go so we can choose your own path. him using his screams so the boat starts moving, symbolizing using your pain as a fuel to keep going, heal and move forward. (little side story that’s also happening: a man finds one of the bottles harry once threw, and that led him to meet a woman, and at the end they get married. they symbolize two of his best friends and members of his band, mitch (guitarist) and sarah (drummer) they met in 2017 because of him, fell in love and now they have a child together!)

I still can’t believe Harry didn’t win the grammy for best video in 2021🙃

His team created an entire lead up to this release, created the island and Easter eggs along the way. Filmed in Scotland, I believe. You do a great job explaining the technical bits and are still able to enjoy the music and follow the stories in his videos. I would vote for Sign of the Times, his first, to be next

It's a Scottish town called St Abbs, 50 miles south of Edinburgh, capital of Scotland. Marvel's Endgame was also filmed here as the village of New Asgard.

Don't know if anyone has mentioned it, but Treat People With Kindness is one of my favourite music videos of Harry's! It's very choreographed and doesn't really tell a story like the ones you've watched earlier. As It Was is definitely worth watching too! There are short behind the scenes videos to these two as well!

"Maybe his friend just outgrew the place he was at" pretty much nails the whole story behind this. People don't talk about this but I think it's quite obvious, and 100% sure relates to his own life and experiences. Since I don't want any angry conspiracy theorists jumping on me, I'll just leave it at that. Adore You is my favorite Harry song, and I'm so happy that someone actually respects all the work he's put in this. He IS a very good actor, he's just undermined because of his boyband background. I hope he'll continue in acting, too.

In the beggining the fish was trying to kill itself, just like Harry (with the stones in the pocket, he would try to drawn himself or at least it was what I understood about that), but he decides to help the fish and both of them ended up helping each other. Another thing that it's cool so think about it's that not only his voice makes the boat to move, like you said, but also his screams of frustration, like "do good things with the bad situations in your life", you know. Mainly filmed in St Abbs, Scotland. St Abbs was also New Asgard in Avengers Endgame and also Link (staring Elizabeth Shue and Terrance Stamp). The closed off the harbour over about four days. Featured some locals as extras and used a local sailing boat called Jules for Harry to away to the land of watermelon sugar. Some of the scene not starring Harry styles were filmed at Cockenzie and Portseton.

I’m happy you started this channel and the harries caught you in their net! But this are amazing MV’s and the fact that you can catch a lot of details on different levels is very interesting! The way you interpret the story and explain the technical aspects it makes it so complex! I like your voice very much!

My fave bit is something tiny, literally only a second, but it’s when he goes to put the fish in the coffee part, and quickly taps the pot first to make sure it’s not hot, so as to not BOIL the fish. It’s just such a silly little moment, but I can imagine him finding himself really funny over it.

Loved the reaction. Haven't seen it mentioned in other comments, so I'll say it. I always thought the "him going out on his own" is symbolizing going solo from 1D as there is a shot of 3 people standing on the pier (whom he left behind). And yes, he is doing that by his own voice that's a very good point I didn't think of before. This one is really self-explanatory 😅 But he never really explains the meaning behind anything / there are a ton of fan theories that have no real grounds. Harry usually lets everyone draw their own conclusions from the music and the videos as well. Let's everyone have a narrative they create in their head so we'll never know. p.s. if you're interested in more mini-movies as music videos I'd highly recommend zayn's. Not all of them, but some of them should tell a "story" throughout. I'm not quite sure about the chronological order (they didn't come out linearly) but it should be: Sour Diesel, Dusk TIll Down, Entertainer, and Let Me. Maybe I left out something, this is the one I remember and the research I didn't lead me anywhere useful 😂😂

I LOVE this music video and I simply adore your view on this piece of art.

I loved your interpretation. I found your insight very interesting as well. Harry is super talented and I believe his short films and videos have personal meaning but he also allows the viewer to have their own interpretation. It's up to the viewer to decide. I always felt that it was a story about his time in 1D. The thing about boy/girl bands is that its hard to break out as a solo act. Rarely are you as successful and we know by how successful 1D was that it would be difficult. However, Harry is the rare gem that managed to not only break out of that bubble but he catapulted to another world. He is in his element being free to be himself and create. At the same time I sometimes think the fish represents Zayne, his 1D bandmate. Zayne left because he wasn't happy and felt smothered. Harry had to of watched him outgrow his environment and maybe he and the other guys had a hand in letting him leave the band, out of love. It hurt but in turn it gave him his own purpose in life.

This video is depicting his relationship with Zayn Malik his former band mate in One Direction..Harry took care of Zayn in the band and ultimately Zayn left first because he was miserable and then Harry references his choice to follow not long after and One Direction then went on to their solo careers..

If you notice at the start, he is putting rocks in his pockets to weigh him down before he wades out into the water. But then the fish tries to do the same by beaching itself on the rock, and he ends up stopping to save the fish instead, and realises the fish is as lonely as he is, so he changes his mind…. And it was filmed in 3 locations in Scotland - St Abbs, Cockenzie, and Port Seton. The coastal shots are St Abbs, a small fishing village about an hour from Edinburgh. It is also where parts of Avengers: Endgame were filmed!

This is one of my favorite music videos but for some reason I didn’t know the extended version existed! I just watched it along with you and it really pulls the story together and fills in the gaps from the cut down version.

Filmed at St. Abbs Head on the North Sea in Scotland. It's a beautifully rugged shoreline. I took hundreds of photos when I was there...I couldn't get enough.

It's filmed in the Isle of skye in Scotland. Also the boy at beginning that smiled is in a Scottish soap called river city .

I think this is the same location, or at least the village, as New Asgard in Avenger Endgame. In the Golden music video, there's a fish eye lens and some fans think it's showing we, as the fans, are the fish and helped him with his struggles. Also loving the reaction snd explanations, it's really interesting. And the backpack, I have a key ring with that as the charm thingy.
