Fabulous projects, your Morris Dancer is beautiful and I love the Fireside blanket. Mentioning Duxford brought back memories, we lived in the old RAF camp in the late 70's early 80's and my mum worked at the museum, had loads of fun there. Have a great time at the sampler weekend x

Great update, so fun to see what you have been up to over the summer😊. I love the blanket: those variegated yarns are so pretty! Your Biarritz story reminded me of a time in France when the proprietor stuck to me like glue. My kids roamed around, willy nilly, with backpacks, but apparently the middle aged, North American lady with her little hand bag posed a bigger threat!

Good to see a new floss tube from you! You’ve been very crafty, Kirsten! Love your Wm. Morrison fabrics, they are gorgeous! Don’t let them sit too long… also love your crochet blanket. I need to buy one of those kits, my kids love crochet blankets. Your knit top really looks pretty nice, I think we notice all these flaws cause we are so up close and spend so much time looking at the item we’re working on. It’s always better than we think, crafters are the biggest critics of our own work! Have fun at your retreat!

You have such big (and impressive!) cross stitch projects. I'm the opposite when it comes to buying - I sit on an idea for ages. I still have more projects than I'm comfortable with 😂Take care.

The crochet blanket has my fingers twitching, I have so many blankets and throws already though!

Fun fact: That type of fabric cut is called a "long quarter", as opposed to the "far quarter". I don't think you can get fat-longs though 🤔 would that be a long half?
