No need to feel ashamed; we here at the Hero Hei Show can differentiate spices from assholes (I'm going to leave that there, but let's all just forget that I did and pretend I didn't write those words in that order). On the topic of spices though, could I trouble for a recommendation to go with pintos? I usually just use the Goya brand all purpose seasoning (con pimiento), but I want to try something different and now I'm stuck on Puerto Rican seasonings
The worst case scenario is that even if they did have the happiness in their lifes they still cant phantom the idea that other people would be happy besides them cuz they are so self centered its mind boggling.
Its sad to have only envy, resentment in their hearts, they despise seeing what they can't have due to their innate lazy and selfish attitude on life. Ultimately, their own fault for depriving themselves the satsifaction of diligence and effort towards fixing and solving their own issues, instead, focus on the success of others.
As a single, unattractive woman: There’s a reason people like Eric hate the happy. Just let people enjoy their lives together and leave them alone. The dude has something wrong with him medically and he just wants to spend every moment he can with his wife. They both look and act very happy to be together. I hope I can find someone who love me like that some day, before I’m all old and unwanted
I agree with your fine sentiment! However you said it yourself in that they both “ACT very happy to be together” and THAT is where the problem is because it is a little too perfect and thus most likely an ACT both scripted and targeted at a certain online demographic! I fear people in general but mainly the younger zoomer generation in particular are losing the ability to DISCERN between twee, scripted, reality TV type domestic events like this and the really REAL anymore?
@@PaulusAlone my dude… I’m damn near 30… I doubt these two are putting on a show. You can “act” a part but you can also ACT civil in public. I genuinely think they’re happy together, they seem very much in love and are acting goofy for a video
Isn't it interesting how people on twitter pretty much make it sound like that interracial couples arent allowed? Yet those are the ones to call out racism and xenophobia. Hmm.....you cant make this up at all. Its sorta how people get all angry over people who indulge in other cultures too, yet want people to embrace the culture and accept it. Like make it make sense. Like just let them be happy.
It's only allowed in one direction. They kept making tweets about how "shes only putting up with him for a green card" (these got hundreds, sometimes thousands of likes)
the same people who call you racist over a fictional drawing are now having a hissy fit because of an interracial couple prepare for standards and make it double
Black supremacists and their enablers are inherently racist against asians, cause we're traditional and hard working, without having to rely on those "affirmative actions" and blm bullshit
As a Filipino Japanese, avocado dessert is pretty common on most Asian countries. My favorite version would be mixture of avocados, mangoes and banana, then condensed milk and crushed ice. You can also add evaporated milk, coconut shavings and nuts for extra creaminess, texture and crunch.
Been married to an Asian woman for 43 years. My wife and I have had similar conversations to what these two people had in the videos. It’s hardly “trash talking”. It’s playful banter. It’s what all people in close relationships do.
I feel bad for the Asian female/white male pairing. They get made fun of and laughed at by so many people. It’s literally the most scrutinized and belittled relationship pairing. I can’t even count the times I’ve heard people snickering and mocking these types of couples. It’s really a damn shame.
@@GhostNinjaTactical Never had that happen in our 43 years, at least not to our faces. Even when we traveled in the Deep South, we were always treated very politely. And in Asia, we’re also treated well. I think part of it is that we are always polite to people we come in contact with when we travel. A little of that goes a long way.
@@stevenelson3515 I’m glad you haven’t had to deal with people snickering at the af/wh relationship. You shouldn’t have to. No one should. I just hear people making fun of it a lot I guess because all the stereotypes that accompany the relationship, but maybe in the future it won’t be mocked as much.
Irish guy here with a Japanese wife, we make fun of each others ethnicity & make stereotypical jokes sometimes. We do a lot worse then what is these videos, especially being Irish, it's a very Irish thing to be able to make fun with someone you are close to. The guy who tweeted this would lose his shit if he saw us.
Is getting canceled still a thing in Ireland cause if not not gonna lie it appeals to me? Getting tired of people freaking out over the pettiest things here.
@@spencerbowden2979Well we chased Antifa away, so that probably helps. Don't think I've ever heard of anyone being cancelled over here. Primarily just in the US and UK.
It's literally just a cute couple doing cute couple things 🤷🏼♀️ as someone in an interracial relationship I find these really relatable and super sweet 💗
Honestly think it's more of a multi-cultural thing that racial, like the avacado thing, that's very rare to see in North America and a good part of Europe but I presume more common in Asia
@@kylethomas9130I once saw a video of a black guy joking with his Korean wife and people in the comments were saying very hateful racially motivated things about there kids because they are mixed black and Korean was very weird
So it’s obvious to me what’s happening here. He sees this pretty Asian girl and is looking at her, wanting her sexually. He then sees the husband and gets jealous and offended that a non attractive guy has a pretty Asian wife and he doesn’t. He then proceeds to rage about it and tries to find a way to justify said rage.
"This is racist!" "What? How? It's just a couple sharing some coconut milk tog-" "Because it perpetuates asian stereotypes! It's racist!" [The "anti-racist" doesn't realize that they're stereotyping other people based on their race] ...I love how these people that love to point out racism are some of the biggest racists on the planet.
@@mastertofuI suppose, given in both cases she does stuff with food, the "submissive asian mailover bride"? Idk I admit the guy is not pleasant to look at, but so long they're happy, who cares.
As a Filipino, yes, that is how we eat avocado. The first time I heard of avocado toast was shocking and new to me. The moment I saw her make the avocado dessert, I instantly thought: "She's from my country."
Honestly, mad props to that guy. Most men that are even a little bit not attractive enough are rejected by far too many women, so it's great that he found someone.
Sadly most people are severely lacking in the personality department. So if you add not being physically amazing into the mix, you'll have a lot of people who overlap these two categories. No wonder a lot of dudes, let alone unattractive dudes fail at even getting someone interested. Rip. And of course i'm not even including the fact that the near entirety of the planet is people who are in critical financial situations. The whole dynamic between economic worth, economic needs and relationships is whole other beast.
It's not about race, it's about attractiveness. There is a stereotype that if an "ugly" person gets with someone attractive it's because of their wealth or citizenship and that it is some form of exploitation of lower status. People do not like seeing "ugly" people. So they bash them whenever they are living normal successful lives regardless of their appearance. You can be attractive and still not get into a successful relationship, people do not want to admit personality is important and wants life to be about attractiveness and sex.
its a TRUE stereotype woman will say that OH it doesn't matter if they are ugly IT DOES also he has money which is the other factor he even made a follow up tik tok defending his relationship saying that she isn't just in it for his money LOL if you have to make a response to defend your partner to random people online then you also probably have some doubts as well also most modern woman are gold diggers and very entitled just wait five years and we will see what happens
I think they're projecting, I myself had very low self esteem and thought of myself as ugly (according to current beauty standards) and I had a pretty pessimistic and lazy mentality where I would put no effort into myself or my appearance, because in my mind I was thinking I would never be perfect, so what's the point of trying, and it was a big insecurity of mine, and I linked my overall appearance to my life, I thought I would never find love, and lead a successful life, and whenever I saw someone like me I would think that their life is just like mine, I was projecting my insecurities onto others, it took me a while to realize that my happiness was in my control and I was sabotaging myself from the beginning, and I finally got rid of my previous belief that you can only be happy if you were attractive, though it's just my opinion, I could be wrong
Honestly the only bad thing about that video is that she is using that knife in a very dangerous way in my opinion, but otherwise it is really normal and wholesome to see a happy couple like that.
I follow this couple on Instagram. I remember a viral reel they posted on Instagram and the comments that people made on that reel mocking the guy and saying that she’s using him for clout and internet fame. It’s absolutely ridiculous and disgusting.
The one consistent thing with insta reels and Twitter tweets and retweets is that there's always bound to be stupid takes made for attention and nothing more
How can the girl use the guy for clout if the guy is the one filming? I don't get the logic. It's like, if I film a beggar on the street, then does that mean that beggar is using me for clout? Are their brains backwards or something? Also, I am not saying that the guy is using the girl for clout either. If I have a girl as beautiful as that, I would share her videos with the world as well.
Didn’t see anything wrong with this. They looked like a wholesome couple. Then again folks love to hate what they themselves lack so I’m not surprised Twatter found a problem with it 🙄😒
I'm Asian, I don't like avocado and would definitely respond like the husband in that situation but I remember my aunt makes avocado both savoury and sweet (depending on her mood) and the interaction reads more as them joking about how they've perceived avocados differently their whole lives. It's fun. I am very confused about the "asian wife" comment as an Asian person lmao. On the other hand, the coconut video did make me uncomfortable. It has nothing to do with the "asian wife" moreso, I'm feel so bad for the coconut and the wife handling it so aggressively like, girl please don't get hurt!! There must be easier ways to do this, please! But yeah, other than that, there's straight up nothing wrong with either videos and it's so weird that someone wants to start beef about it.
Race aside, that girl is such a good vibe and kinda open-minded one. Some people are just jealous because they're not with that kind of person who can get them out of their "comfort zone" and explore things in life together with a partner of opposite gender. One of the luckiest guy I've seen so far. She's a keeper.
@@ivand0007 Doesn't the video involve cultural differences regarding tastes in food? As in, the entire video is about that. If his wife was from New Hampshire, I doubt she'd be hacking open a coconut with a big kitchen knife to drink the liquid inside or eating avocado as a desert. So his wife coming from an Asian country/ different culture is quite relevant. It's what the video is about. Can you have a smart friend look over what you're typing before posting anything else? That would be great for everyone.
@@ivand0007calling someone by their ethnicity doesn't mean you have a fetish buddy 🤡 they were talking about cultural differences, all it does is provide context at the very start
I know this couple, I'm subbed to them and get their videos on my shorts from time to time! Very wholesome couple. My dad is Norwegian and my mom is Japanese. Let me be the first to say, I guarantee that these negative comments are 80% being made because of the man's appearance, my father is 6'5 240lbs of muscle, and no one makes comments about his and my mother's marriage. It's sad because their content always brings a smile to my face as it reminds me of my parents
@@lightningpenguin8937 That's always been the case fr. Anytime either one in a couple doesn't look "as good" as they expect, they pull a "how did you land him/her" or worse; "They're just with them cause they bought them out" which is the most dehumanizing, disgusting thing to say. Twitter users need to realize that people they consider attractive are also regular humans who think like everyone else. Doesn't matter who they're with as long as it's sincere and they're happy.
That's 100% it. And it's probably majority women saying it too. Western women group men in categories based on how attractive you are. If you don't fit their definition of attractive, you're a second class citizen to them and don't deserve a good looking woman. Some psychological studies showed that women don't even see unattractive men as human beings.
Filipino here. Since I was a little kid mom would occasionally make avocado dessert after a hearty meal. I'm 34 and mom still makes it especially after greasy meals. The milkiness and sweetness really set the whole course. Usually you just mix the avocado meat with evaporated milk, brown sugar and crushed ice and it's a massive W. Would definitely recommend it
@@nev781 That's the true way of living, if your life is shit should the other people life be as well. And if your happy should the other people be as well.
As a Filipino it was odd to me that people ate avocado in savory foods. Harder version is Powdered milk and sugar with avocado and mush it and refrigerate. It's almost ice-cream with that fat and dairy.
@@McCaroni_SupDidn't think that I'd find good ideas for dessert recipes in a Hero Hei video, but here we are. I need to try that, I was on the fence about it but the mangoes and condensed milk convinced me.
I don't like condensed milk since it's too watery but I can see how it's better tasting. I'm personally not a fan of avocados but maybe eating it in a savory dish would change my mind.
Nothing is wrong with having someone in your life who loves you and cares for you, doesn't matter if they're your "asian wife" or "white wife" or whatever. This is almost hilarious to exemplify how toxic Twitter is, by showing something wholesome, and seeing people find something to hate about it.
The only "wrong" I saw was him not trying the avocado but maybe I'm just more adventurous. They look like a happy couple from 60 seconds of their relationship that I've seen.
I mean I can see how some feminists take offense of the "make me a sandwich" energy in the clips... you know, small asian girl in the kitchen, making food for a white guy with a camera...
As a Brazilian the first time I heard that people from other countries eat avocados with salt was a shocking revelation to me too, like, it's a fruit, what kind of monster looks at a fruit and thinks: "yeah it probably should be salty" As for a recipe: Just throw 2 avocados (without the skin), 2 spons of sugar, 1 cup of milk, And a bit of condensed milk(optiona) in a blender and blend it
As a Filipino, this is how I had avocado as a kid. You can also just mash the avocado into the milk with a fork and add some ice cubes to make it cold.
In America we consider avocados a vegetable instead of a fruit but then again we consider tomatoes a fruit and bananas a berry so I don’t think we can really say much
In Dominican Republic we eat avocado with or without salt, usually in salads, or just with rice. My father sometimes even puts some olive oil on top sometimes, along with salt. I ain't gonna lie, that is delicious.
@@threesixtysafari2115you have access to bear brand milk? I'd take spoonfuls of the stuff and dump it on the avocados. If I'm feeling extra sinful I'd add some sugar as well, heaven in a bite I tell ya
Imagine sleeping on the concept of avocado dessert in favor of trying to find the worst in people while watching their totally normal and healthy interactions. The most concerning thing in both videos was her violent use of that knife on inanimate objects; I get nervous a person will cut themselves when they do that.
Avocado in south east asia are sweeter than in America, I've watched someone cook with SEA avocado and they said it taste became weird because the avocado are too sweet
Those same Twitter users constantly scream 'racism' while being the most hateful racists themselves. They are just miserable and want to be everybody to be as miserable as them. Plugging their own store is also pathetic. Hating on others just to use it as advertisement for their crap. This guy has a great girlfriend and I wish them all the best! Wish I had someone as sweet as her. 🙂 The main thing I was really concerned about was how she was using that knife. I was really afraid that the knife would slip and that she'd cut herself. Now I have no clue how to open a coconut and would likely use a battery-tool to drill a hole but that's just me. I'm just glad that they found eachother and are happy together. Life is short and finding happiness is all that matters. It's also way more healthy to love than sitting on Twitter 24/7 hating on other people who are just being happy together.
This is a perfectly normal relationship between 2 people who like each other. Honestly I've had almost the same senario with my wife. It's just a fun quite day with a loved one doing something in a cute but awkward way.
That video was adorable! How could people be so toxic? I understand seeing other people happy while your alone, hurts, but don't attack them, ignore it and try to enjoy something else.
It's mostly because many people get trashed and despised by everyone for being ugly and borderline stupid. It's something which people cannot change, only if incels were given some love and good treatment.
Have to say as a Mexican I have never seen or heard of having avocado as a desert, but thinking about it it's probably not that crazy of an idea since the flavor itself is almost bland, it's most defining feature is it's texture, it doesn't really have a strong taste so in a sense it could be either sweet or savory, had the same reaction when I heard about sweet omelette rolls, was taken aback at first, but then thought of those times where your syrup sometimes makes it's way to your eggs and it actually tastes good, it just takes a moment to realize that something that's usually always savory can also be something sweet.
Ya should make it into a smoothie or just eat it like with sweetened condense milk. I exposed my folks to how Mexicans eat yall avocado, they love it,.
I remember this couple from another video. They have been talked about for some time now and was even in a show. Everbody made fun of the guy for obvious reasons. They accused the girl for using him to get a green card. They have been together for some time now which means that isn't the case. I've only ever had avocado as a dessert, I've heard of guacamole but never had it until I was older. The fruit was introduced in the Philippines since the 1700's, I guess the FIlipinos never saw it as anything else other than a dessert. Avocado shake with condense milk is a must try! 👍
I'm a Filipino myself the things the couple in the video are doing are pretty much normal here, especially if a foreigner doesn't know our culture; we don't see it as rude or racist, that guy must be living under a rock or something. Oh, we like our avocadoes in milkshakes :D :D
Brazilian here. My parents only ate avocado with sugar as dessert. It was so weird finding out on the internet that some places consider them a salty food...
I've been called a retard multiple times, I'm pretty sure that I look better than this guy. How is he "Cute"? Society literally treats incels worse than Dogs for not being attractive.
wow, so we're at a point where people get mad for absolutely no reason? jeez, i actually didn't expect to get this far but i shouldn't be shocked that this is happening.
these clowns get mad over a relationship?????? damn.. they are happy together, so many RU-vid shorts creators have the same type of content with the "asian wife" thing... it's not a problem
Why do we even care if Twitter is angry at something anymore? We could show a dog being pet by someone and I’m sure they would find something the complain and be angry about.
Eric: This guy talks her like trash why having asian wife Everyone with a working brain and healthy relationship: So you have chosen death ? Some Guy: My dude just got roasted harder than his advertisment ....
She's sharing her culture with him, and he's sharing the experience with people online. Its so freaking sweet and harmless but, here we are. PS I have never eaten avocado 🥑
Yup! the avocado dessert is really a thing in the Philippines! my mom told me it's "lutong tagalog" but I think it's also done in different provinces (Ilocos, Visayas region???) and different Asian countries as well. My mom would do it with evaporated and condensed milk with avocados mushed together with ice as well. Sometimes we add a bit of sugar if the condensed milk isn't up to the sweetness level of the person eating it : D
Its just a couple recording themselves. They both sound kind to each other. People are actually bullying the for the way he talks (which didn't sound rude, more like he has a speech problem - which isn't something we should be judging) and the way he looks. We shouldn't be biased by appearances in my opinion.
Filipino here. My mom usually makes us "Avocado Juice" Combination of: - Bite-sized Avocados - Milk (if using a pitcher fill it to half) - Water (if using a pitcher fill it to half) - Either White Sugar or Brown Sugar can be used Then just let it sit in the refrigerator till it gets cold as it's _Best served cold_
I think it's a thing of Asia not just Philippines, from the coconut water to the avocado, we do it the same here in Vietnam (can't say for other Asia countries), recipe for the avocado might vary but yeah we do eat avocado like that.
I have never avocado as NOT dessert lol, I literally made an ugly face when I saw people eat it with salt the first time. the avocados themselves are probably different because we're in different countries, and we eat it right at the peak of ripeness.
Not only in Philippine but also here in Myanmar(Burma) eat avocado as dessert and as fruit. Personally my mom mix the avocado with condensed milk or sometimes just sugar and we just eat like that. Sometimes we make avocado smoothies. It tastes really really good and I love it. If you don't want it to be so sweet just add some suger instead of condensed milk. We eat rice and curry as meal so it's normal to have fruits as dessert. I don't know what you guys use avocado for which I'm surprised. Some eat fruits with rice but most of the time we don't have fruits in the meal. My relatives eat mango with rice so yea. I'm not representing Asian or Myanmar or anything. There are alternative ways other countries or people eat. So I don't wanna say all Burmese people eat like this. It's just what I see in my family and some people. I have to add. The man from the video(the couple) referring his wife as "Asian wife" is because he just want to show others the different ways each cultures eat or drink. And I appreciate that. Showing people our culture is really awesome. Once again love your videos and your opinions Hero Hei. Hope you try avocado next time.
My brother and his finance talk and joke with each other like this. They tease and harass each other and have been happily together for almost 10 years now. (I know because I've lived with them for most of those 10 years.) They have one of the happiest and healthiest relationships I have ever seen. He's also White and she's Asian.
Avocado can certainly be a desert. You can even make Homemade Avocado Ice Cream. I can't believe Westerners haven't tried this until now. It's mind-blowing to me. Edit: Maybe the kind of Avocado's you eat there are different from ours. Probably that's it.
I think the clips these two post are absolutely adorable. She being giddy like a kid about something she looked forward to for ages (we all do that, let's be real) and him being oblivious to non-american ways of eating stuff. XD They are both cute, wholesome and absolutely fine. As mari said: Some of people don't deserve this kinda happiness, and Twitter twats sure as hell proved nicely as to why that is. ^^ I hope his wife makes a roasting video to dunk on these clowns. I always love seeing that~.
An Indonesian perspective on Avocado: Yeah, we used avocados to make juice or as a part of the ever popular "avocado latte" or any other avocado-based drinks popular nation-wide (i.e. something you won't find elsewhere but the country/region that popularize it), usually avocado is used in local sweet drinks such as "Es Campur". Dunno about the other Asians tho, but Indonesians definitely use avocado mostly for desserts, not salads. Either that or just chomp the avocado after peeling/cutting it
As a filipino, eating Avocado with condensed milk is good. Pair it with ice cubes or mix in some evaporated milk to make it more tastier. You can crunch the ice with the condensed milk coated avocado and its really good.
Agreed, though I generally don't like to put ice in mine. I don't like ice in anything, even regular water. Just dilutes the taste when it melts. That said, slap some mango cubes into that shit and I'm game. That's the way my fam always prepared it in the Philippines.
In Indonesia we blendered avocado and iced water and put it in a glass lined with chocolate condensed milk. One of the most popular fruit juice recipe. Yummy!
He just wasn't a fan of coconut water and avocado dessert, he wasn't mean or condescending to her. Also, for Hero Hei: Try drizzling condensed milk on sliced avocado like the girl in the video. It's a nice, light dessert but can work as a sweet snack. Be careful not to put too much condensed milk though, it can be too sweet
That's how we open cans in the Philippines, not sure about the rest of Asia. Our knives are multipurpose, sometimes, I even use it as a screw driver. 😂😂😂😂
These people trying to act like they know their relationship from a 2 minute clip. Reminds me of when someone heard me and my husband doing our usual banter (which always includes playful insults), and told my mother we were "fighting." You never know how people's relationships truly are, and you know what they say about assuming.
Throwing my in my two cents: when I was doing Keto I discovered a recipe for a simple desert using Cocoa or cacao powder and Avacados that was incredible. Somewhere between a thick pudding and a proper fluffy chocolate mousse. I forget if there were other optional ingredients recommended but as long as u hit it with a sufficient food processor to get the chunks out, the ‘slimey’ texture and the slight herbal/earthy flavors really vanished into an incredibly passable desert that was keto friendly (and dairy free!).
I cannot fathom a reason to hate the couple other than blatant jealousy. They're so wholesome tbh, and I kinda relate... my love language is food pretty much, so I may act similar to the girl in the video, prepping food of my culture and give it to my S.O.. Or it would be the other way around, desiring to taste their family's specialty.
