Multi-talented singer-songwriter Gary Burr has been working with Ringo since the Ringo Rama album, co-writing many songs with Ringo, and being a member of Ringo’s studio band The Roundheads with Mark Hudson, Steve Dudas and others.
He continued to work with Ringo after the Mark Hudson period, and has written songs for his later albums, and will have one on Ringo’s upcoming country album.
Gary has been one of the most successful songwriters in the country music field, having written songs for Garth Brooks, Randy Travis, Reba McIntyre, Juice Newton, Joey Molland, Kenny Rogers, Wynonna, LeeAnn Rhimes, Faith Hill, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Carole King, for whom he even toured with! He was briefly a member of Pure Prairie League, and in recent years has been a part of the Blue Sky Rangers with Kenny Loggins and Gary’s wife, Georgia Middleman.
Gary has just released his first book “Reunion- A Rock n’ Roll Fairytale,” and will tell us all about it!!!
