For anyone seeing this: I feel so hopeless sometimes as a woman. Some men are so egotistical and hurtful and I've seen a recent and random uptick of sexist comments. Does anyone have advice? I know we're much stronger than they make us out to be, it just hurts :(

Im so thankful that I haven’t came across such situations where me being a woman is the most disgusting thing ever. But sometimes I’m sacred, scared of going out, fearing what might happen to me, fearing that i might get assaulted or even might not return home while trying to live my basic life just because I’m a woman.
For real, the other day i was talking with my mum and I told her “whenever I meet a man the first thought I have is that he might kill me”, and she was like “you shouldn’t think like that about every man” and like! I love that some time ago, the first clip started circulating around social media but only the part where Cher said "for what?", and it was posted by a lot of insecure men that wanted to attack women, but after people started commenting that it was taken out of context, the same men ignored it and at the same time, we never saw a video called "Cher is awesome for this" or something like that. So it's a lot easier to criticize women and take things out of context, but it's a lot harder to praise women.

I'm teaching piano to some kids, while waiting to start my Software Engineer job in February. Yesterday I had a lesson with this kid. His father came to collect him and I said "I'm starting a new job in February, I just wanted to let you know early because I'm not sure if I'll have time for these lessons" and he said to me "Haha. A job. You know, this may change before February, right?" and, in my head, I was like "Yeah, our schedule can change too, before February. We can stop seeing each other from now on.", but didn't say anything, cause, you know, I never want the kid to suffer because of his parent. But it was one of THESE moments if you know what I mean.
Men are a luxury they should be treated as kings not commodified as peasent providers, like wise women should be treated as queens not property, you build an empire and relationship together keeping each other's benefit in mind from that relationship, the others happiness should be your number one priority and yourself at number 2 you just have to find a level headed person who knows those norms and is willing to do them.
