First Time on a SLEEPER BUS in Vietnam was quite the experience! With all the horror stories, we were just so nervous with what to expect. It is all a part of the adventure both good and bad and we were so happy we tried it.
The best part of all was the the ride was only 6 USD and so worth it to go 3-4 from HCMC city to Can Tho which is located on the Mekong Delta!

We started our trip back in April 2, 2019 from New York City. We quit our 9-6 jobs, sold all of our belongings, and began traveling full time. We left our jobs because we were unable to be with family and enjoy life. Work was taking up too much time and something had to change. We saved up for 2 years and began traveling as soon as we found a deal that would take us around the world for just $285.00. We started this #travelvlog to share our adventures with friends and family. At the one year mark, we realized that we had only scratched the surface and there was still so much to see. We are so fortunate to be doing this every day. We hope you enjoy our content and will subscribe to our adventures.

Memories! Our sleeper bus stopped and picked up a coughing woman at the start the pandemic! You can imagine, everyone was on edge! We agree! It was a bit cramped! Ours didn’t have a tv though. You had a fancy bus!

Looks to be a comfy bus. With sleeper buses, one can stretch the legs and sleep unlike the regular ones. Many food choices on the way. Seems to be a nice and comfortable trip.

congrats on the 100th video! great job! there was one time that we took the overnight bus in Vietnam that driver started to pick up locals along the way and they all slept on the aisle. in the middle of the night, one guy wake up and asked if he would drink my water, hahaha

Re-watching here my friend! I've always wanted to try out these buses!! I've not really come across them before but they're such a great idea! It's actually a great way to avoid paying for another nights accommodation! And particularly useful for long distance rides! Just one quick nap and you'll be at your next destination! I love bus travel! Especially when the buses are so convenient like that one. I’m a little shorter than you at 5’5 so it might be a tad bit roomier for me 😂 I can see how those buses tip though because they’re sooo tall and on curvy roads it could be bad but that still doesn’t stop me from loving bus travel. I’m surprised the bus wasn’t completely full and also it’s cool that they make you take your shoes off IMO. Great video guys! This makes me excited to travel through Vietnam. Also, 20 bucks for your hotel room is a great deal! Not bad at all 👍😄

Well it was a short distance compared to other one's. In addition, they stop a few times at markets and you can get off to get food and use toilet.

Wow, so many signets on the tickets!) The bus though looks very comfortable from the first sign, but yeah, sitting for 3 hours with the bag in front of you is a bit weird. Anyway, it's great that you've safely got to the destination, even with such a delay. Definitely great deal for a hotel :)

This bus looks similar with the one I tried in Malaysia. I enjoy long scenic bus rides before the pandemic most especially if they have stopovers then you get to try local food!😊

It does look pretty cramped, but a very convenient way to travel too. Not as much hassle as flying. And lying down sounds a bit better than some long hauls I've done on buses - impossible to sleep well sitting up. But no toilet on the bus! Haha, I'd be all nervous about that the entire trip. Thanks for showing this experience! :)

Thanks so much for your comment! You can always opt for a more VIP bus. We just wanted to save money on the transit and it was totally worth it. I believe there some luxury ones that go for $20 USD.

@@exploreaswego I am 1.75 metres whereas Jerry is a lot shorter. We were in Vietnam in April 2017. We had visas to visit last year in March but the borders closed on the day of our flight. Unlucky! That's scary regards almost tipping over.

I can’t get over the cost of the sleeper bus seats! Seriously how do they make money.. But on the other hand converting to their currency it may be a good price for them.. The seats look pretty comfortable.. Totally worth the experience..

HAHA. We were doing okay for a while, but after every 2 hours they stop at a rest stop so it was fine HAHA. We didn't use the bathroom before we got on so we were just lucky overall.

For us smaller boys, it was actually okay. For those who are taller, it may feel a little bit cramped! Either way we got to our final destination and was able to get there very cheaply! WOO!
