Yeah, but obviously he don’t know what he’s doing. All he had to do was with a torch heat the back he comes right out and then you would’ve saved the shell. It was no reason for him to break it. 😢

I realize that too. They want to be lik Japanese but their level is at the bottom. Look at the cutting board with all black fungi growing around. It is awful to look at. When you eat raw meat/seafood the evironment must be extremely clean and follow the guidance. I guess this is on the farmer market.
They're not queen conchs that are endangered in the Bahamas, they look like some sort of giant triton possibly. There's a few other videos of them being prepared for sashimi called giant trumpet conchs but that might not be the right name. Regardless, overfishing is still a concern but these aren't that specific type that is endangered.
@@dreamofwings They are Giant Triton which is the apex predator of Crown of Thorns Starfish. Theses starfish eat hard coral and are capable of decimating vast areas of coral reef. This Triton is protected in many countries for this very reason. Removing too many from the ecosystem is not wise.
I think these are the snails that eat the crown of thorns starfish and stop the starfish destroying the reefs. They should not be eaten. They are critical to reefs.
