Hi! I built the Myrkul deck, sorry not sorry, BUT, I did try to build it in such a way to where it didn't go infinite, and I really wanted the whole board to be self-wiped by Rampage of the Clans. it went and did the silly stuff it did and I'm happy about it. My list is on Arckidekt if you wanna go find it

Tomer started his last turn by saying he wanted a sac outlet, played two spells to bring back creatures from graveyards, but left Viscera Seer there. He should have won that: he only needed to reanimate Viscera Seer with either of the raise dead effects on his last turn, use his Undying Evil and sac his board end of turn with the Jadar token to finish everybody.

Tomer's right about just playing good legends. I now use Jodah as commander of the legends deck described on the first video on my channel and it's pretty strong with the possibility for big and multiple attacks, damage doubling, one-sided board wipes, etc.

I hope you end up playing the Food deck some time down the road, I thought it was a different theme and enjoyed the challenge of building it. Love your guy's Podcast and obviusly these games keep up the great content!

Heya Seth! I am a habitual deck builder and have been growing bored with some of my decks. After watching myrkul shenanigans, I’ve decided to combine my chatterfang, sythis, and Tymna/Shidiqi decks into Myrkul aristocratic enchantresses. Thanks very much for the inspiration

I'm disappointed that Ayara doesn't have Plague of Vermin in her deck. 😆I love that interaction.

I feel like the issue was less myrkul and more a deck with not that many wincons (no offense to the person who made it) but I have a myrkul deck with sac outlets for enchantments and grim guardian with token doublers you can finish the table relatively easily and without taking 40 minutes haha

I feel like we always hear about the honorable mentions or decks that looked cool, but ultimately didn't get chosen. Could those end up in the article for the episode on the website?

Ragavan was the real hero the whole time.

Given how often you guys need to fast forward I would fully support if any member of the crew like brought a DS or their phone and just like goofed around while waiting for the combo player to finish going off.

It feels like the Myrkul deck could have had a much nicer time with a blood artist and a zulaport just randomly added. But then again if they were there it wouldn't be ending the way it did. @Tomer - is this the longest turn in commander clash history?

Claws of Gix may not be a free sac but it's 0 cmc and 1 mana to sac any permanent and gain 1 life

Uhhh, I have no idea what happened to have Myrkul go off. All those tokens and stuff? How did that happen? I wouldn't say we "got to see the deck" even though it was probably correct to fast forward.

I know phil mentioned that cascading into legends can be seen as a downside but I wanna mention what really make jodah so insane as I have play with and against it so often in the past 3 weeks at my lgs. in a yidras deck you often have the problem of hiting mana ramp and you can not run board whipes or some removal as they can fail to cast or destroy you and the ones you do are sub par. You only hit gas in jodah and even if you hit a legendary that at the moment does nothing it is bar minimum getting +2/+2 more and often more. I built my own deck with just cards in my collection when I pulled one and it may be one of my more powerful decks and I have a terrible mana base. It is a kill on sight for sure. I just play generic power cards like toxaril. drizzt,iymrith,rammos and ratadrabik. There are 3 big things to look for in jodah. Good key words as you creatures are huge, generic power effects like card draw in iymrith case or removal like lagrella , or some synergy with legends/exile. For example Prosper is very good. All in all a insane commander that you should watch out for at your lgs.

Fallen Ideal is great with Myrkul. I'm not sure if I saw it in that list but I just finalized a list of my own!

Question time: if you have a tree of perdition with myrkul on board, and you sac/destroy the tree so you get an enchant copy... Can you oneshot someone with it because the enchant copy tecnically doesn't have toughness???

I have a huge issue with Seth's assassin's trophy play. Whilst you could see it as the correct play, I'm here for entertainment and watching 2 Jodah's would have been the most entertaining thing in this episode

It's crazy to me how insistent you guys are on 38-39 lands. I've been playing 33 lands in ALL of my commander and brawl decks for years and I've rarely, and I mean rarely, had issues. I'm not saying 33 is the new 38, but I think you could easily go to 35 and still feel okay. Green especially doesn't have issues.
