If we can get Viggo and Ian one last time in The Hunt for Gollum, I’m going to be crying tears of joy in my popcorn bucket.

I’d love to see a movie of him and Arwen in the last years of his life.

Peter Jackson managed to revolutionize filming to create Gollum. He can certainly handle de-aging Viggo and Ian for one last ride.

It would be great to have Viggo as the old King Elessar remembering his days when he was hunting gollum and then some other younger actor to play young aragorn

I saw Viggos new movie the dead don’t hurt and I have got to say he could still do an incredible older Aragorn. Though the hunt for Gollum story is set a little earlier in the timeline so they’d have to de age him or something.

I would be fan girling so bad if he would return. I understand he was in his 40s when he first played Aragorn. I think at 65 he still looks great. So handsome. Aragorn in the book's story, while hunting for Gollum was 70. I think he could pull it off. Darling Viggo. 😍

Rest in Peace Bernard Hill, he was one of the greatest actors in LOTR, his speeches, and his death scene really impressed me, it is one of the most believable and real death scenes I've ever seen. What a great human being he was.

I guess we're talking about using some kind of de-aging technique but it's about more than just the face, it's the voice and how the actor moves. DeNiro was made to look younger in the Irishman but whenever he had to get physical, like kicking that guy on the ground, they could hide that it was an old man doing the kicking. Obviously they have stunt doubles they can use but Viggo is the kind of guy who will want to do as much as he can himself. If the technology can make him look younger and he's fit enough to play younger then it's not a problem. I say all this knowing that Viggo is technically still younger than what Aragorn was during Lord Of The Rings lol

I read the LotR after the Fellowship of the Ring movie came out. Viggo wasn't what I had in mind from the books, but he was an amazing Aragorn and it was clear through the acting he's a good person. I'd truly fear any modern adaptation of LotR, and thus, fear what they'd do to Aragorn because of it. Viggo deserves better.

Let it showcase more of Nature Of Middle Earth and Anthology Of Middle Earth, Laws And Customs Of The Eldar and hunt for Gollum can be backdrop as well as main story in some cases. All while showing what was happening between the other races at this time too The culture of the Greenwood elves could be shown here for even in their capture of Gollum it’s known that even a captured orc would be treated with respect and unharmed. Wish I had the exact passage in front of me. For it was beautifully written. Can be three 2 hour long episodes put on Netflix after release in theatres as part 1-3 of one movie.

I don't understand how people can think he could return. He's 65 years old (currently). What would they do, de-age him? We've all seen the tech for that, and it's far from perfect.
