Vigilante (ビジランテ) is a 1988 beat 'em up arcade game developed and published by Irem in Japan and Europe and published in North America by Data East. It is considered as a spiritual sequel to Irem's earlier Kung-Fu Master.

Same here at a Chucke Cheese in the 90’s in Little Rock Arkansa One fateful day though…I went to my favorite Pizza place, and it was gone I asked the owner, and he said they moved the Arcade Machine to another location and I was very saddened 😔 Thank God I have this on my Gaming Laptop now…no more spending quarters 😂
It was wonderful game i was played this game me and my brother in youth center.when I was,young. I spend too much money. But finally I reach the final stage .and also nonore.who was my example..he was always get the final stage. Special thanks to him and to the other friends. And brother. I remember being about 10 and was fighting the big dudes at the end of the 2nd level and had about 10 people stop to watch me. Felt like a legend but buckled under the pressure and lost 😭
Pretty impressive. Last boss is tough. I used to be kinda good at the game but now I find everyone back flips out of the way and I run out of time and they heal.
Played this when i was 16 in arcade and never passed level 1 haha. And found it like 25 years later and on MAME you have unlimited lives and finally beat the game and was amazing after all these years.
I rremember playing this game at the first time in mexico city in a visit to my grand parents .it was in a pharmacy an it cost a coin of 200 old pesos .i was like 7-8 years old.. really time pass by very fast.
The first boss stage 1 whe he is down sitting quickly sit near him and use kick this will kill him 3 second cause his balls try it it works perfect .i use it back in the golden era days .very nive game though ❤❤❤❤❤
I was still in high school when this came out. My best friend made it to the final boss in the arcade veresion first...lol. I bought it when it came out on the TurboGraphix 16. ❤
It was nice game. I spend much money when I was young. My dad has always mad on me .cause I was stealing money from his pocket. And get out joining my friends in youth center
And according this story....¿anybody know... What happened with this warrior after game? I have seen drunk in a double dragon game.... ¿anybody know why?
Irem had completed kung fu master 2 but it did poorly in the test market. The felt that a new game thst featured a western hero would be more appealing.

For a skinhead gang, these guys sure have a lot of hair on their noggin. Also, great to see they're accepting black-skinned individuals into the fold now. Now we can all hate together!
