Vigor is a 3rd Person Extraction game that's unfortunately been a console exclusive until now! How does it compare to it's console version and is it worth paying $20 for? #vigor
The lack of multiplayer is killing me tho. No ability to play with my friends ruins the vibe from console. I had about 100-200 hours on the console one too
@@Armoredcompany I agree that unlimited spectator mode breaks the game, but they have multiplayer on console, so why not PC? It’s not a design problem it’s a feature missing lol
I really like the game it has a certain charm that makes me enjoy it, but you hit the nail in the head with everything you said in the video and I hope bohemia improves it a lot for PC since it still has so much potential
I been saying this be great on pc for yrs also! I played it yesterday and it’s fun. There r def things I like to see changed but i enjoy it. Like a not so serious extraction shooter. I kinda like to see the time for encounters increased little. Also first person be cool.
6:55 Well, if they are using line traces to shoot the gun it doesn't matter where the gun is aiming its still going to register as a hit because the line trace is coming from the camera no the Muzzle of the GUN.
They use a lot of lazy mechanics like that. Every weapon recoil is a prolonged animation that has always made it feel unnatural in regard to modern shooters and how they’re all getting closer to reality. Vigor devs just don’t want to do that meticulous work i guess cause it functions well enough🤷🏻♂️
Like LC, I love the setting since games are never set in Norway (outside BFV). I enjoyed the pc version but would recommend people to wait for the free version which will also be feature complete. The user reviews are crazy, buying the game just to say it’s bad because you had to buy it. Kids these days, man. They expect early access games to be the finished product for some reason.
I used to play this game on the switch I bought it when it was early access for $20 (similar to what there doing now with pc) I was able to put in a couple hundred hours in the game but I would wait for F2P release
STOKED to see this on PC. I always thought this game looked cool! For 20$ that's a steal. I will pick it up. Pretty deep into ABOI. But I would love another solid extraction shooter. Tarkov's days of running the show are coming to an end. After 7K hours I couldn't be happier.
Looks like a winner to me. $20 isn't much for a game with this degree of polish. The different style of map design and lots of guns that aren't in most other extraction shooters is also a big plus. I might actually pick this up.
one thing i do not get is its free on console and is not in early release so why is it 20 pound on pc and in early access just more screwing over of pc players
I played this game on console when it first dropped on PS4. I enjoyed the game with friends, I just hated how it felt. Having played it on PC, the game feel amazing. Performance is good. But not being able to play with my friends was enough of a dealbreaker for me to refund the Early Access. I figure they should've been way more transparent about how we won't be able to play with friends. Seems a little deceptive, in my opinion.
After 50-60 hours then you already done everything in the game, they havent added new content in years, only cosmetics, the playerbase on console its pretty much dead
Honestly, this could be interesting but the hitmarker and kill sound effects immediately make me think Fortnite and I immediately don't want anything to do with it anymore. That and the spectator mode just feels icky.
I get the frustration about the early access price, sort of. WW3 cost money in early access, and i never saw any chirping about that. Could be because of the other issues plaguing that game, but still. Seems like cherry picking.
It's a PC port of a console game. I'm not sure what you're expecting in terms of looks. And $20 is pennies compared to AAA games. I'm sorry, AAAA games now apparently.
didn't release on pc initially? charges for early access beta testing rights? lesser product than the console version extraction shooters are the current battle royal, which are on thier way out in terms of popularity so it'l be a no from me dawg
Vigor is fun for a little bit but it gets really boring. The grind is awful, if you do buy the battle pass be prepared to never finish it unless it’s all you play. Also head glitching is pretty bad. I still play it here and there but honestly if you want a fun and different extraction shooter my pick is Hunt Showdown.
And neither do a lot of PC players want consoles that get an aim assist (the most used cheat feature next to walls) added without being banned for it on their servers, so that evens up.
Bruh. I game way more than the average person and all on PC exclusively. Literally I've seen 2 cheaters in 4years since I made the switch from Xbox and they were both on FiveM modded servers🤷. In reality I dealt with more glitching and abuse on console and way more frequently than I ever have while playing on PC. I played Xbox for over 15years so I definitely have the experience to speak on it. Modded controllers, xim input, head camera glitching over walls and things of this nature are literally common place and dime a dozen on consoles ✅💯. "PC cheaters" argument is honestly BS and cope and this talking point regurgitated by random people that have no factual points to prove these common PC cheaters to be a thing.
